Details

The capital airport of Ireland for your home flight simulator. With up to 20 million passenger per year Dublin´s International Airport is of course the number one in Ireland and also ranked 15th of all European airports.

It is served by many international airlines and it is the home base for Aer Lingus and Ryanair.

The scenery of the airport which is located 10km north of the city center, is in the final development stage representing the original airport of today. It includes the new Terminal 2, also known as Pier E. The product comes with extremely high-resolution textures and with thousands of small details. Despite a very large number of these details in 3D, the frame rate stays absolutey stable and excellent.

Enjoy a wonderful approach into the Celtic pearl and enjoy something typical irish after the work is done.

The good: Detailed airport The Bad: -No support for P3D v3 -Horrible FPS, even with the settings turned all the way down -Bad on VAS -Doesn't blend with FTX Ireland and causes even more performance issues -Developer refuses to make any adjustments and or fixes -Constant shimmering of ground textures on apron and runways

In a word.. Brilliant ! Fantastic FPS in FS9. Alongside Eiresims Ultimate Cork and Shannon and UK2000's Belfast EGAA this is Ireland at its best. Now if someone could do Irelands regional airports for FS9 that would be great.. Waterford, Sligo, Belfast City, Derry, Kerry, Donegal, Baldonnel (Military).... Rgds, JOhn

Bought this product today for Fs2004 and must say that this product is superb, everything runs smoothly and graphics are fantastic. Lot of moving ground vehicles makes the airport even more superb. Highly recommended. Big thanks Aerosoft for giving us Fs2004 fans this airport.

before i purchase another scenery from Aerosoft I need to read reviews concerning OOM's messages, Since Thessalonki I got OOM messages and it took a patch which got rid of autogen buildings out of the area! This inturn made the scenery less demanding on the system! I need to read further reviews here and on YouTube, and from the Aerosoft Forums before I make this purchase! FSX is a 32bit simulator which can only handle a limit 4gb of memory and Aerosoft for no explicable reason keeps pumping out HI-RES Airports that the sim cannot support and exceed this limit! My suggestion is do like me and read up on this scenery before spending your hard earned moolaa on it! I will rate it much higher if I see no OOMs!

An excellent airport addon and a vastly superior replacement for the alternative payware versions of EIDW. Beautiful, realistic and authentic replication of Dublin Airport with plenty of autogen and traffic - this product manages to make the airport look 'alive', which is the overall feeling I am always looking for with a new addon. No problems with OOMs here and surprisingly very good frame rates for an airport of this detail, which actually drop when I fly away from the airport scenery over Dublin city (an Orbx issue not an Aerosoft issue). Can highly recommend this!

I bought it directly from Aerosoft and not one OOM. I flew from OMDB to EIDW with the PMDG 777 and no errors/issues. Today I tried a DX9 flight from EGCC (UK2000) to EIDW (Aerosoft) and still no OOM errors.

Installed it a few days ago, light install to be precise; nice rendition at par with other quality products BUT there is a huge issue for me; I can't land. The thing is a resource hog and I experience OOM each and every time I land. My system is not the issue here (it can handle the PMDG 777 on 19 hours flights), I fly the PMDG NGX EDDK - EIDW, many times (I disabled all my other scenery) but there is no way I can complete a landing and taxi to my stand! Too bad because I love Irish weather it's a perfect place to practice cross wind landing! Let's hope the developer will find a solution.
