CAS PIPER J-3 CUB MSFS2020

CAS PIPER J-3 CUB MSFS2020

Amazing! The flight and ground characteristics, engine simulation, and maintaiance have so much detail and love put into them. I only had to take one star for bugs like backwards cockpit controls, a few rough areas in the cockpit textures, and exterior sounds, but I highly recommend the Cub.

KROC - ROCHESTER AIRPORT - MSFS24

KROC - ROCHESTER AIRPORT - MSFS24

Very happy with this scenery as a former (until 2023) Rochester-area native who's been through this airport many times as a passenger. The details are beautifully rendered and (at least from the parts I saw in real life) highly true to life. I want to give a special callout to the developer for rapidly updating the scenery in response to an email I sent reporting some issues. The PAPI glidepath lights were missing on runway 04, and the instrument approaches were missing from the nav database in the previous 2020-compatible version of the scenery (although that might've been because I was running it in 2024). The studio CEO/founder responded directly and informed me of the brand-new 2024-native update from a month ago (Feb. 2026), and he pushed out an update the same day(!) to fix the missing runway 04 PAPIs. Apparently, these PAPIs were absent in real life (maybe for maintenance?) when reference images and charts were examined in 2022 for the initial scenery release, so this was true to life. The PAPIs are back in real life as of 2025 imagery and charts, which is now reflected in this scenery as of the 2026-03-02 update. (All of the runways now have PAPIs matching real-life charts, i.e., all runways except 07 have them.) All instrument approaches are now present in the nav database as well. In terms of performance, I get excellent FPS on most of the airfield, but it gets substantially heavier when I come close to the terminal (due to the high level of interior detail modeled). I'm running an nVidia 3050 laptop GPU with only 4 GB of VRAM, which is below the posted minimum requirement (8 GB), so I wouldn't consider this a demerit (still 5 stars) - just something to be aware of if you're on a limited machine. Performance is good on all the runways (so it shouldn't cause major problems on approach); it just tanks when I taxi onto the main terminal apron. The cargo and GA ramps are sufficiently "out of range" of the terminal that performance remains strong there. Guess I'll need to get a better GPU so I can fully enjoy high-quality scenery like this. ;-)

SIMFLYER - GARMIN GNS480 GMX200 PACKAGE

While it is less useful these days with fully developed virtual cockpits that have knobs already modeled, for lower fidelity or older models, the GMX200 is a good replacement for the default FS9/FSX/P3D Garmin GPS500, its' added functions and higher resolution display look far better than the antiquated FS9 unit ever could. The only downside is that in a VC that has every knob modelled, this will never look right.

Excellent airport, incredible detail. I appreciate the high quality static aircraft on top of it all. I've had this airport for a number of years now and always enjoy flying in here.

C414AW CHANCELLOR MSFS

Not detailed enough for the price. I've actaually seen freeware that is as good as this, and there are aicraft that came with the sim that are better than this. The graphics in the cockpit and cabin are just not real enough for MSFS24. It flies pretty good though and has a lot of systems modeled, so I couldn't give it a 1, but for this price the quality of graphics are not deserving of anything better than a 2. Seems like it was perhaps an FSX aicraft that they tried to get ready for 2020 and now in MSFS2024 it is just not good enough

Anti-Piracy Warning

Protecting Your Purchase

The flight simulation add-ons you are purchasing are legally protected and copyrighted on an international level. This ensures that the creators' rights are upheld and their innovative work is safeguarded.

Why Piracy Hurts Everyone

Piracy undermines the dedication and creativity of developers. When you download or distribute pirated add-ons, it impacts the creators' ability to continue producing high-quality content. This affects the entire community by reducing the availability of new features and updates.

Consequences of Piracy

  • Legal Risks: Engaging in piracy can lead to severe legal consequences, including fines and prosecution.
  • Security Threats: Pirated software often carries malware, risking your personal data and system security.
  • Lack of Support: Unauthorized copies do not receive official support or updates, leading to potential issues and vulnerabilities.

How You Can Help

  1. Purchase Legitimately: Always buy add-ons from authorized sellers like SimMarket to ensure you receive authentic products.
  2. Report Piracy: If you encounter pirated add-ons, report them to the authorities or the original creators.
  3. Educate Others: Spread awareness about the negative impacts of piracy and encourage others to support developers by purchasing legitimate copies.
