FLY THE LINE – SHORT HAUL EDITION

FLY THE LINE – SHORT HAUL EDITION

To be perfectly honest, I don't recommend buying this add-on. In fact, I deeply regret buying it. It works great in the advertisements, but in practice it's terrible. It doesn't recognize all airline ICAO codes, and because of that, I couldn't even use it, since career mode doesn't interest me. When creating a fictional airline, too many airports appear, and it simply freezes trying to create routes. I'll stop using it and wait for a future update to fix the negative points.

I purchased this scenery with no particular expectations, simply to enjoy some general aviation flights that I really like. I was genuinely surprised by the exceptionally high level of quality. The scenery captures the atmosphere of a regional airport, with small details that clearly reflect the developer’s care and attention to detail. I ended up buying one copy for myself and another as a gift for a friend who was born in the city of Ourinhos. I truly hope the developer continues to release new projects, I will definitely be purchasing them.

I am sorry but I have to lower my rating to 3 stars. The app is still pretty good, but I found too many issues. Dates are not consistent in flight history, some of the options don't work. Currency continues to revert to XDR even if you try to set a different currency, it shows up as XDR.. maybe not a big deal to many but annoying. Also, on two occasions I don't know if it was XP or AH, when trying to fly I was told I need to repair the airplane. It was at 0 so I had to spend most of my savings to repair it. I'm not talking about maintenance, it showed damage to landing gear and wings. In my previous flights I had excellent ratings (not crashes) so it just seems like it randomly shows up. One time it happened when XP12 crashed. I clicked the "quit" button and was hoping it would allow me to restart but it said "Your plane is damaged". So I assume if XP crashes, so does your plane :)... anyway, not a bad app, just not great.

I very like that fire grows so its like a real scenario not only one fire point on map. Also smoke is good realistic becouse its makes worse visibility. What i would like to see is some ground troops becouse if the fire spreads too much its not possible to put it off just with one plane

For the price, this is a solid product with a well-designed exterior and interior. The textures are very well executed, although the business class feels a bit dated. The sound is also well done. In the cockpit, the basic switches and systems work reliably; particularly noteworthy is the custom-designed EICAS, even if it is still on a basic level. The FMS is rather simple, and at least for me, I was not able to modify waypoints from a flight plan created in the simulator. VNAV does not work reliably, so you mostly have to work with V/S; there is unfortunately no SimBrief integration yet, meaning you have to rely on the simulator’s flight planner. The add-on is not a scam, and considering the price — especially given that it is a one-man project — it is recommended for non-hardcore simmers or those who simply want to fly a Boeing 767 in the simulator. The product has potential, is already quite usable in its current state, and the ongoing support is commendable.

Why Piracy Hurts Everyone

Piracy undermines the dedication and creativity of developers. When you download or distribute pirated add-ons, it impacts the creators' ability to continue producing high-quality content. This affects the entire community by reducing the availability of new features and updates.

Consequences of Piracy

  • Legal Risks: Engaging in piracy can lead to severe legal consequences, including fines and prosecution.
  • Security Threats: Pirated software often carries malware, risking your personal data and system security.
  • Lack of Support: Unauthorized copies do not receive official support or updates, leading to potential issues and vulnerabilities.

How You Can Help

  1. Purchase Legitimately: Always buy add-ons from authorized sellers like SimMarket to ensure you receive authentic products.
  2. Report Piracy: If you encounter pirated add-ons, report them to the authorities or the original creators.
  3. Educate Others: Spread awareness about the negative impacts of piracy and encourage others to support developers by purchasing legitimate copies.
