The scenery covers around 42 square kilometers in total with fully detailed buildings at the airport, including the new T2 and T2B terminals. Fully customized high resolution aerial ground textures, detailed ground markings and the actual taxiway layout with new rapid runway exits and taxiway links make it a perfect rendition while use of LOD technique will give you the best possible performance. There´s even an option to use the still existing old Europier which will be demolished soon.

I think alot of these low ratings are based on users with little to no experience with the sim prior to what we have today being P3Dv4 and v5.
When this version of Heathrow came out the sim was still in a 32bit program.
London is situated in a heavy area consumed by 5 large airports and many small GA airports. If you use AI traffic and a weather program along with the popular at the time London VFR or even without you were asking ALOT! The scenery was of course going to be heavy on FPS and this would have been the same had FlyTampa or Flighbeam done it; so this isnt a Simwings issue.
Now we are on a 64bit sim which has been tuned in a way that allows for more power this scenery peforms much much better and still looks great.
The reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 is i feel today it could do with a revamp, improved texture baking in areas and reworked runway and taxiway textures.
Other than that this is a very nice rendition of Heathrow.

Die Szenerie an sich ist sehr schön gemacht, jedoch ist dies bekanntermaßen der Größte Flughafen Europas und dem entsprechend ist hier die Framerate ziemlich niedrig. Dagegen laufen andere Großflughäfen viel schöner. Frames trotz potenem PC liegen hier nie über 20 FPS und der OOM ist auch immer recht schnell erreicht. Im FS2004 ist dies bei weitem nicht so schlimm und läuft auch viel besser

Jolie scène , bien faite mais pas à jour ! Il manque le nouveau terminal Star Alliance ! Mais les passerelles sont mobiles , comparée à la plupart des scènes aesoft

The airport itself is very well done, but just as some of the others have said in P3D v3.3 VAS is an incredible problem when running ORBX base and vector. I to wish I had stayed with UK2000. I'm giving it 2 stars because it does look good, but clearly not beta tested well at all.

I Payed For This Scenery The Other Day And I Have To Say Im Very Impressed With Aerosoft On Yet Another Excelent Airport Scenery And The Area Around Heathrow. Thanks Aerosoft On A Great Addon. :)

I have uninstalled this software from P3D V3 and FSX and just kept the FS9 version. With ORBX textures installed and flying Airbus extended or PMDG aircraft this Airport is virtually impossible to fly into or away from it due to FPS rates below 10 or VAS errors. In P3D V3 Terminal 5 is missing even after complete new install. I am now using UK extreme. Sorry guys but without a Lite version not recommendable unless to put all sliders to Minimum.

Nice scenery on the whole. Although the jetways are quite awful! First of all the didn't work at all. Then I had to chase Aerosoft and Simmarket for a patch. Now, considering I always fly the PMDG 777 the jetways leap up into the air and attach to the aircraft half way up the doorway! NOT GOOD AT ALL! Wish I'd stayed with UK2000

This is a very well done airport in most parts bug huge disappointed with the framerates (I am using Fs2004). It is between 20-28 frames per second, this is not normal in Fs9 (have a powerful computer). I will use UK2000 Heathrow (witch get 45-50 fsp in my computer) until Simwings will fix this. Then I will give them 5 stars.
