Details

This is the new Manhattan scenery for X-Plane 12. Visit New York like never before. Flying this scenery brings you many new buildings, most of them brand new. There are several free New York City freeware packages that show small parts and corners of Manhattan. However, this scenery is the only one that shows the most important buildings you can see in Manhattan today.

The 205 buildings I created are represented in all areas of this scenery: Lower Manhattan, Midtown, and Uptown. It includes newly built neighborhoods like Hudson Yards;  a little further from Manhattan is New Jersey with some tall buildings, and Brooklyn with a splendid new tall building built in 2018.

All the free packs of NYC are compatible with this scenery. The only one that's very important to have is X-Plane Landmarks New York, which is already integrated by default into X-Plane 12 / Custom Scenery, so you don't have to do anything to have it because it's already included with the program. This is why I didn't design buildings like the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, Chrysler Building, etc., because they're already in X-Plane Landmarks New York. However, I did design two buildings, the Deutsche Bank and the 7WTC. If you want to see mine, you'll have to remove the Time Warner (Deutsche Bank) and the 7WTC from there   they look less dark and more real in my scenery. This is also to avoid overlapping.

 

Version 2 improves the alignment of building facades and also removes flickering from some buildings.

This is probably the most complete scenery of New York and the best on the market.
