France VFR is happy to announce its latest release of photo scenery within the collection of Regional VFR: NORD PAS DE CALAIS VFR regional.

It represents the extreme North region of France of 15 000 km² with a Mesh of very high resolution (LOD13). The scenery is covered by very high quality (2.40 m/pixel) of aerial photo scenery that has been reworked for an optimal visual rendition. Specific autogen and extremely detailed 3D objects are provided and optimized for a smooth flight. All water-bodies are landable and navigable and transparency is rendered within the entire coast line. The scenery includes 22 airports, airfields and ULM platforms with semi-detailed buildings, a great variety of VFR landmarks (wind-mills, power plants, electric pylons) that have been entirely treated in order to provide a good cohesion between objects and photo textures. Precise geo-referenced texture positioning is carried out throughout the scenery to ensure a maximal compatibility with existing and future scenery add-ons for this region (ex. LFQQ- Lille Airport scenery already in our Regional Airport collection).

As with all France VFR sceneries, this once again is excellent - a large area is covered with detailed autogen including a large number of airfields / airports. If you like flying low and slow there are no better scenery areas to do it than in those produced by France VFR - it is as near as you can get to reality in fs9! Highly recommended!
