Chubu Centrair International Airport (ICAO: RJGG, IATA: NGO) is situated on an artificial island in the Ise Bay within Aichi Prefecture. The airport is 22 miles (35 km) south of Nagoya in central Japan.

Chubu Centrair was officially opened on February 17, 2005 and is Japan's third off-shore airport, after Nagasaki and Kansai International airports and is also the second airport built in Japan on a man-made island. The airport represents the three main prefectures of Central Japan, Aichi, Gifu and Mie; including 6 other neighboring prefectures, thus servicing 22 million people in total. In 2010, Chubu Centrair saw 9,271,382 passenger transits, had 84,684 aircraft arrivals and departures, and catered for 161,740 freight ops, making it the 8th busiest airport in Japan.

The airport has a 11483ft (3,500m) runway oriented north south (18/36) on 176/356 degree headings and sits 15ft (4.5m) above sea level.

SYSTEM-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Chubu Centrair International Airport was developed on a medium system for medium to high-end computers, and was tested on WinXP, Vista, Win7, and Win8 32/64 bit platforms with medium to high-end graphic cards. Specific requirements include:

Prepar3D.
Pentium IV 2.6 GHz (2GHz Duo2Core Intel and above or equivalent highly recommended)
256 Mb DirectX 9 graphics card (512 Mb or higher recommended)
Word for Windows to read and print the manual.
270MB of hard disk space required
Frame rates from scenery complexity and autogen settings were averaged at 35fps and above. This includes moving sliders 100% to the right. Medium settings yielded much higher frames, but our recommendation is  Dense to Very Dense for exceptional rates. Since the scenery is 15cm/pixel photoreal, it is highly recommended that Mesh Resolution be set at 1 meter within FSX Display Settings (slider 100% to the right) and mesh complexity set at 100%. Texture Resolution should also be set at 30cm and above (or slider 100% to the right).
Recommended AI Traffic settings:

There are AI boat traffic within the island airport area. To maintain exceptional FPS levels, it is recommended that leisure boats be set at 20% or less.

AI Road traffic should be set at 40% or less.

MyTrafficX (5.4) is our preferred AI traffic engine. However, the product is compatible with any other third party payware and/or freeware AI engines as well. Recommended setting for best performance is 60% or less.


PRODUCT DISCLOSURE and DISCLAIMER

Similar to any Flight Simulator (FS) Addons, this product may have issues that are either default (Microsoft-related) or developer-related. Issues that are MS-related, whether documented or undocumented are many, but we can only speak for our product. Although there are no micro-stutters or huge lag in fps as tested, it is advisable to lower the Water Effects within FSX Display Settings to High 2x. and set Autogen down to respectable levels for fluidity. These are recommended for lower to medium-end systems.
 
No technical issues were encountered during various beta tests, whether hardware or software- related. Instructions for installation of software are straightforward; however, venturing outside bounds of recommended installation and use is at sole discretion of End-User.

We will not bear responsibility for issues resulting from installation of the product, in part or full, into former Flight Simulator platforms which includes FS2004 because the product is not backward compatible. Furthermore, we will not be held responsible if files are altered within software for any reason associated with End-User taste or choice.

vesky16,REX.M sim settings high except shadows. I am not familiar with DC except for the major landmarks but wanted a helicopter playground. Not going to comment on the accuracy of the scenery or the details. It appears to be a google map type map with buildings and scenery place on it. Looks ok at best. The area is dead flat and in slow helis at 1000 agl you see it at its worst. At speed and altitude it should become more believable. However the fps and performance are smooth and runs better than ANY Orbx airports including the small, single grass strips. A few tugs and hitches here and there flying Milviz helis but overall smooth. Install give you the option to cut the textures by 50% iirc and other things such as static aircraft etc but I ran DC fully loaded. So far all I have done is run helis from Andrews AFB to the Capital and a few quick circuits of this large scenery. I am familiar with the well known DCA River Visual Approach RW 19 and flew it and all landmarks are there. So overall for my use a a heli playground it was worth the price. Fps was very good although if you run Ai and high end airliners that I cannot comment on. 5 is OMG you are there,4 is incredible but a few problems 3 is gets the job done which this does.

It works 90% in P3D v. 3.3! Its an amazing scenery, even birds are shown near the airport. It looks very 2017 realistic. / Funciona un 90% bien en P3D v. 3.3! Es un estupendo escenario, hasta aves se ven volar en cercanías del aeropuerto. Tal como es el aeropuerto en 2017.

not to bad. frame rates are ok. airport and downtown areas look great. the surrounding areas look terrible though. Looks like there is a huge glacier sitting on the city.

Good product I rate it a four out of five because it needs to update the airport a little because it is missing a couple key things like the new expansion of runway 22/4 and the renovation of the airport. But overall the graphics are five out of five for the price I recommend it!
MLADG - MESSERSCHMITT ME-109 G-2 X-PLANE

Having previously purchased both the Flight Replicas 109 and also the DCS variant, I was really looking forward to flying this model in X-Plane. However, after completing just a couple of circuits, it was painfully clear to see, that this offering by MLADG, was far inferior. The flight model for one, is totally unbelievably at certain phases of flight and really spoils the immersion factor. The engine sound samples too, are of poor quality (even with decent headphones) and have an annoying loop. If you've ever flown the A2A Messerschmitt (which is, I think, over ten years old), or the Cliffs of Dover variant, then you'll be extremely disappointed with the sounds provided. Graphically the aircraft looks reasonably good, but this is more down to X-Plane's lighting effects, rather than the model itself. If you're coming from FSX/P3D, or even Cliffs of Dover/DCS for that matter, then I suggest (unfortunately) you look elsewhere.

I would beg to differ with the previous comments describing CDX as boring. For those interested in light aviation and like to simulate low and slow flight, this program has allowed me to integrate the realistic rural sceneries of Orbx with the detailed purpose built AG aircraft accurately modeled by Alabeo, some simple scenery enhancement by ISD3, altogether into a most accurate simulation of the world of cropdusters. This is precision pattern flight simulation at it’s finest. CDX integrates an accurate representation of the SATLOC litebar into the cockpit, a sort of localizer guidance for each of the passes that are required to be at the correct height, speed and track to efficiently spray the field. CDX provides the sim pilot a rating of how accurate the flying has been. The litebar is not easy to master, and for me , spraying a field is much more difficult than landing the plane correctly. A second part of the program involves treating your crops in a timely fashion to avoid their demise . This I haven’t yet gotten into yet and can’t comment. But the concept sounds brilliant. What I like about the newest version of the program is that I can designate any of the Orbx simulated farm fields as the one to be sprayed accurately. I have found you can easily enhance this field(s) with 3D crops as opposed to just the textured tile which adds greatly to the visuals. This can be done using ISD 3 ( Instant Scenery Designer) and a typical field can be enhanced for crop dusting in about 15 min. CDX developer ( Oliver Binder) is now in the process of integrating 3D crops directly into the CDX program. I should also mention he has been very helpful in answering many of my questions and is truly interested in refining and improving the product as much as possible. In conclusion, I was starting to find navigating from one airport to another as a little boring, particularly enroute. I looked forward to mainly executing the approach and landing correctly. Cropdusting is a controlled landing avoidance every pass and it is anything but boring, even simulated. Check out the real-life vids on You-tube !
