Copenhagen Airport (Københavns Lufthavn, Kastrup) located just 8 kilometers south of the center of Copenhagen is the largest Scandinavian airport. Besides servicing all of Denmark and the southern regions of Sweden directly; it functions as one of Scandinavian Airlines System's (SAS) major international hubs making it a vital transit airport in the Northern European region. 21.5 million passengers passed through the airport in 2008 making it one of Europe's 20 busiest airports.

This new scenery from Scansim provides a detailed scenery, without sacrificing good framerates. This package features the complete Airport built in Gmax with photorealistic ground textures (Summer, night and winter variation) in a sensational resolution up to 0.6m/pixel. The scenery features exact coastlines, mesh and a completely new designed airport located 100% correct. This add-on also includes dynamic apron traffic, as well as road traffic in the vicinity of the airport. The included detailed AFCAD and AI Aircrafts compatible with default traffic, makes it a lively and highly realistic airport to fly to. You might find scenery with better graphics, but this will be at the cost of framerates - The EKCH Copenhagen Airport is designed to be usable in conjunction with great scenery's like Denmark Scenery rendering a detailed Copenhagen city center right next to the airport.

Really nice and framerate friendly scenery!
It seems a bit outdated, and the objects are not super-b quality, but it gives the real feeling of being in Copenhagen Airport!

Bought it yesterday and have now tried it a couple of time
and also been looking around the whole airport.
Great framrates!!! All buildings seems a bit outdated though, to what
could be done today in FSX.
But all in all a nice scenery. Looks yet very real to the real thing.
I live near Helsingborg in Sweden,so for me it´s my home airport
and I had to have this airport. The scenery isn´t bad at all, but I think
the buildings could have been better.
I would have given this 4-stars, but can´t because of the buildings.

I have primarily bought this for FS 2004.
Much water has past beneath the bridge since FS 2004 was launched. The most developers have found new techniques to make their sceneries just amazing. I have had the old swedeflight free scenery and then the aerosoft scandinavian airports. This scenery looks as beeing about at the same level as regards looks and technique. Don't forget that what they achieved when the two other mentioned were developed was admireable at that time. In year 2010, this scenery is not admireable. However,it would have been among the best for FS 98 sceneries. For FS 2004 it's way back in technique and looks.
I give one single star because the air bridges seem to look fairly good.
