Cannes Mandelieu LFMD was for a long time the main airport in the French southern coast. Now it serves mostly tourists in summer and business travel the year round.
Marseille Provence LFML is the most important airport in the region and serves the second largest city in France.
Nice LFMN is one of the oldest airports in Europe and is small but complete.
St. Tropez La Môle LFTZ is a small airport with a single runway. Small as it is, you will find some the worlds most expensive business jets there.

The first aircrafts took off from the valley of Siagne in 1905 and in 1909 the Count de Lambert, a Wright agent, opened a flying school at La Napoule In 1931, Paul Tarascon, was captived by the charm of the hills of Mandelieu and dreamed of creating an airfield there. Today the airport is one of the largest business traffic airports in France. The airport handles international tourism and business traffic, with a capacity for business planes up to 22 tons.

Marseille lies in the south of France and is the most important port of the country. The airport lies somewhat outside of the city at a lagoon and the Runway was extended into this lagoon.
