REQUIREMENTS Microsoft Train Simulator

Simtrain offers you with the „Bernina-Express“ an ideal supplementation to Microsoft Train Simulator as well as to the add ons of Heidi-Express and Glacier-Express. The most interesting tracks are leading from St. Moritz to Tirano, the southern part of Valposchiavo.

On the way up to the top of Bernina the railway is climbing a height of 2253 m a.s. without gear drive! A digital relief will be employed for the first time ever in this simulation. You will experience a unique depth effect by this newly created mountain scenery in the train simulator. Originial rolling engines/cars (again with recuperation brake), a novel type of signalisation as well as new demanding adventures will captivate your attention.

System Requirements:

  • MS Train Simulator 1.2
  • 2 GHz Processor
  • Windows XP
  • 512 MB Ram
  • 3D Graphic Card 128 MB Ram
  • 900 Mb free hard disk space

Detailed route with some amazing grades (7%)and switchbacks. Numerous activities with detailed synopsis and timetables (in English). Graphics better than Glacier Express by same company. Only complaint would be some of the locomotive sounds, which aren't great.
Highly recommended to any fan of mountain railroading.
