TRAINS AND DRIVERS - 1950s ON THE WOODHEAD

The 1950s on the Woodhead, the third scenario addon features the Robinson 04 and the V2 steam engines between Manchester, Wath and Sheffield. Drive passenger services, freight trains or do shunting jobs during a winter storm. All scenarios are between 40 and 90 minutes long with an average difficulty level of medium.

All alone on Christmas Eve

You were the unlucky one who drew the short straw and has to do some last minute shunting work on Christmas Eve. Freight to Southbridge

Your task is the delivery of some hoppers to Southbridge where you will sort them to the correct sidings. This should be an easy run without any problems

Dunford Yard work

You will be breaking down a consist that has just been dropped off and some other odd switching jobs around the yard. The weather is bad, but the job has to be done.

Manchester Runner

You will be making an all stop passenger run from Wath to London Road. There are no reported problems so the only challenge should be making it up that hill. A bank engine was coupled to the back of your train, so don´t worry.

Passengers to Wath

You will take the 06:ooh stopping service from Sheffield Victoria to Wath via Pennistone. You will need the turntable at Pennistone to get into the correct directon to Wath. The weather isn´t the best, so drive carefully.

Stopping train to Sheffield

You will make the evening passenger run from Manchester to Sheffield stopping at the scheduled stops along the route.
