Für den modernen Jetset von heute darf selbstverständlich auch das passende Verkehrsmittel nicht fehlen: am Flugplatz St.Tropez/La Môle (15km südwestlich von Saint-Tropez) sind daher allerhand moderne Flugzeuge zu sehen. Zeit also, den eigenen virtuellen Business Jet zu starten und einen Anflug zu wagen!

Der Aéroport International Saint-Tropez – La Môle wird vor allem von Chartergesellschaften und lokalen Flugsportclubs genutzt. Saisonalen Linienverkehr bietet z.B. Air Glaciers mit einer King Air 200 nach Genf und Sion sowie eine Hubschrauberverbindung nach Nizza mit Heli Securite. Mit einer Pistenlänge von 1.071 Metern kommen die meisten Business Jets der Marken Cessna, Falcon, Embraer und Hawker zurecht.

Auf Basis der aktuellsten Bildquellen wurden hochdetaillierte Objekte am und entlang des Flughafens erstellt. Darüber hinaus wurden auch die Dörfer La Môle und Le Moulin Roux mit individuellem Autogen aufgewertet. Handplatzierte Vegetation und aktuelle Landebahnlayouts runden den Besuch der malerischen französischen Gegend ab.

Initially this looks like a nicely done scenery that is fitted well into its surroundings. Good modelling on the buildings with crisp textures, and I do not mind that there's no interior modelling on buildings this small. However, there are several items that do ruin the experience on closer examination: - The PAPI lights do not match the aerial imagery. And I doubt they are set to 4° as on the real airport. - Detail on the helipads is very low with things like the light poles missing completely - The airport fence's shadow is clearly visible on the aerial imagery, but the developer neglected to actually place a fence around the airport. This would have been so easy to do and would have helped with the immersion of a small airfield. - I know this airport is daylight hours only, but that doesn't mean the ATC tower night lighting should be THIS bad. The texture does not fit the window frames modelled in 3D and is very blurry, and it is too bright for doing ATC anyway. No night lighting would have looked far more realistic than what is implemented now. One could still pick this scenery up in a sale for the challenging approach it provides, but I wished the developer would have been a bit more careful with the details and used the capabilities of MSFS to provide a higher level of detail.

The scenery is well done, but the trees in the river are extremely disturbing. I hope that will be changed.

Gentlemen developers, it is necessary to remove the trees which are in the small river which passes behind and at the entrance to the airport parking lot .. correct modeling but these trees spoil the scene a bit.
