Step into the golden age of jet aviation with the Boeing 727 – Passenger Edition. Following the successful release of the freighter variant and continued community interest, this add-on brings a highly detailed representation of the classic trijet to Microsoft Flight Simulator. It features a carefully modeled exterior with realistic PBR textures, custom animations for boarding and catering, and a range of iconic airline liveries including Lufthansa, PanAm, Alitalia, American Airlines, and more.
The cockpit is fully equipped with extensive interactive features, including a complete Flight Engineer panel and a custom SP-150 autopilot. Inside the cabin, both business and economy classes are modeled, complemented by a dynamic cabin crew simulation with audio announcements and adaptive lighting based on the flight phase.
A built-in Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) offers SimBrief integration, weight and balance control, takeoff, and landing performance calculation, and more. Navigation options include classic radio navigation, simulated CIVA INS, and modern GPS variants such as the GNS530 and GNS-XLS. Flight dynamics are based on real-world pilot input and technical references, supported by a custom electrical system including generator paralleling and synchronization logic. A custom sound set replicates the JT8D-9 engine and adds immersive cabin ambience.
This package is designed for sim pilots looking to experience a detailed and authentic recreation of one of aviation’s most iconic airliners – now available in its classic passenger configuration.

Remarkable! This is the best 727-200 I’ve ever seen in 30+ years of flight simming. I also have the freighter, which is also now outstanding! FSS really has come a long way with their 727 development.
It’s visually stunning and full of systems depth. Just like a real 727 it needs a least two people to fly it by the book. You can manage everything by yourself, but holy cow is that a chore. Trying to be engineer, 1st officer and captain can be very challenging. But it’s possible for sure.
Thankfully like their Freighter this comes with a iPhone looking tablet that allows for all areas of systems to be managed by an AI crew. You can select one, some or all depending on how much you want to do while also piloting the aircraft. It’s a really nice option to have. Trying to do everything while on approach is a handful. The key being you have options.
The whole aircraft is delivered with so much detail. Even a fully visualized cabin featuring period accurate design. Remember the 70s? If you do you should know what to expect, if not then you’ll be horrified by what they called style back then.
Engine sounds are great on the ground but somehow sound less impressive in the air? Not sure what to make of that.
You can even go into the lavatory lift the seat and flush! Why? Because options!
Best vintage jetliner for FS20.
