Beautiful rendition of the scenery. I love the textures and dynamic lights. The performence is also superb. I highly recommend this scenery!! Infact, i highly recommend all aerosoft products!
I must say, after reading a few critical reviews, that we certainly CAN be critical about some of the most subjective things. For sure, some Aerosoft and/or Aerosoft promoted scenery can over-task even the processors and video cards. But, at least for me and my P3Dv4.5 software, this is not one that tasks my moderately powerful system at all. I have found the day, and especially nighttime details to be very impressive. My GSX Level-2 works great with it; no problems at all as far as I can tell. The taxi lines and nighttime/IFR inlaid lights are very helpful and easy to see. The dynamic lights seem to look really good and are not distracting at all. With my ORBX global and other scenery , this scenery looks great! I guess the bottom line is I like this airport a lot and have had absolutely no problems with it. I HIGHLY recommend this airport. If you have probs, try adjusting your settings. This one has been a pleasant surprise from Aerosoft for me.
I've personally waited a long time for this scenery. The textures look good, though details like the airbridges/jetways aren't of the highest quality.
The approach is beautiful, it legitimately reminds me of the look and feel of the city in real life, with RWY 08's approach flying you over Tel Aviv's Alma Beach and the city's white multistorey residences.
Unfortunately, as Aerosoft is wont to do, it seems certain aspects weren't finished prior to publishing. Ex. Until a recent update, the config.exe nor manual weren't working. They kindly added a file for the GSX config, but didn't add any instructions for those more unfamiliar with the GSX config.
All in all, good job and definitely worth a purchase, but I would hope some of the rough edges keep getting sanded off in future updates.
Its funny what pleases some people, im the 3rd to comment on this scenery and i must say im baffled at the opinions above. The scenery isnt bad and its probably the better out of any to offer thus far but i really wouldnt have called it amazing and excellent with its 'attention to detail'. At 22GBP im trying to work out how its pricing itself at a Simwings level price? Indeed it captures details here and there but theres no persistence with this. The screenshots on this product listing display my point exactly. Screenshots 1 to 5 show the scenery looking fairly decent but image 6 shows the sparse lack in autogen around the airport and what you get is flat photoscenery as a base with nothing or very sparse autogen on top. Image 7 shows the lack in baking and texture detail on the terminal and parking area for vehicles. Image 10...Brilliant a UPS building with no 3D cars or trees/vegetation and vast amounts of flat space around it. Maybe i just expect FlyTampa like quality and if im gonna pay for something its got to be worth me handing my cash over for it especially if its over 15GBP. The game for quality and detail is HIGH nowadays; this scenery has the ability to be good but it needs enhancements in finer deatil and what you see outside the airport. This is to me the weakest Mega Airport release to date and i have no idea what the two previous reviewers might have been smoking or what their idealogy of amazing is...but it defo isnt this scenery sorry.
