Dieses FSX Add-on funktioniert mit allen Flugzeugen und ist mit dem FS 2004 kompatibel.

FDC Live Cockpit! erweckt das Cockpit des PC Piloten mit Audio-Ansagen der Besatzung und einer kompletten Airport Soundumgebung zum Leben. Der PC- Flieger kann aus 15 verschiedenen Stimmen wählen und sogar seine eigene hinzufügen. Zusätzlich bietet das Programm eine große Auswahl an verschiedenen Akzenten für die Kabinenansagen.

Audio-Checklisten mit vielen Interaktiven Punkten unterstreichen den professionellen Aspekt ein Flugzeug zu fliegen. Viele sogenannte ‚Flight Deck Calls’ (Ansagen und Befehle der Besatzung) werden den jeweiligen Flugzeugtypen angepasst. Spezielle Flugzeug-Daten für alle Standard Microsoft und viele Add-on Flugzeuge sind ebenso beigefügt, wie ein Checklist- und Performance-Editor, welcher dem Benutzer die Möglichkeit bietet seine Lieblingsflugzeuge zu integrieren.

Eine große Auswahl von fertigen Voreinstellungen erlaubt einen schnellen und professionellen Flug. Dennoch ist das Programm frei-konfigurierbar, um alle Bedürfnisse eines jeden Piloten auch umsetzen zu können.

At first I couldn't get it to work. I was unable to get this program to connect to FSX. After trying everything I was just about to give up and then I found a recommendation on a support forum basically saying install the FDC Cumulative Update Installer. I installed the FDC Cumulative Update Installer over the original software and that did the trick. The program has worked fine ever since. As a user from Day 1 FDC Live Cockpit 2011 is nowhere near as buggy as the guy who gave it no stars states. It is mostly down to USER error and not following any guidelines set out in the forum and the manual. As a forum moderator the support is spot-on,most of the time the info we get is vague(extremely) most of the times and users expect us to give an answer straight away. Dave March goes out of his way to help the user by remote access if permitted and usually gets it sorted pretty much straight away.

While I appreciate the pain the previous reviewer suffered as I have with other products, I do not share the same difficulties with the product. I purchased a boxed version when it was released (supporting FS2002, FS2000, FS98 at the time). You can appreciate the complexities that may arise in the adaptation to FS9 or FSX and realize the dated software may be somewhat limited however, I had no difficulties attaining a fully functional FDC Cockpit with many different aircraft configurations. It is a somewhat steep learning curve and if you want the full capability you need some pretty detailed aircraft specifications to get accurate performance (I even have one working great for the concorde as limited as the simulation of that aircraft is to begin with). I give the program 4 stars as I believe it has potential to provide *some* immersion in to the airliner environment. But to stress, it is an OLD product.

Do NOT waste your money on this product. It has so many issues that produce a large number of commonly reported error messages it is unbelievable. The only thing worse than the program is the FDC Support Forums which are useless and of no "productive help" what so ever with its main admin (Dave Marsh) blaming everything and anything for the issues other than the obvious flaws with this product. This product has had flaws from day one (2011) and still has them. You will spend more time trying in vain to get this software to work than you will using it, if you ever get it work at all. I only gave this a 1 start rating as you can't give it a 0 rating.
