Details

The German Airports-Team has reworked and updated the airport Hanover from the German Airports 2 series for the Microsoft Flight Simulator X and 2004. The airport is up to date in terms of layout and comes in the absolute highest quality.

All buildings, runway layout, taxiways, lighting and NAV aids are true to the original. Built on high resolution aerial images the airports and their surroundings show an absolute realistic image of the real world. Another highlight is the use of the Dynamic Airport Enhancement Services. The services ensure dynamic traffic on the apron and surrounding roads and motorways creating a lively atmosphere.

Notwithstanding the many details, the scenery will run with excellent frame rates on modern hardware.

NEW in version 2012:

  • The jetways have been updated; old red jetways have been replaced by new jetways

  • Cat I holding positions and runway 09C/27C holding positions are now equipped with “RWY guard lights” according to the current DFS Charts. Holding positions at the relevant taxiways have been updated with markings and TWY signs
  • New Hangar 16 north of the car park. ACC-Columbia Jet-Services including an apron entrance
  • 3d runway lights and 3d approach lights according to the current DFS charts.
  • Animated windsocks
  • AES-Lite with new vehicles which now have ground-shadow-textures
  • Optimized Autogen for FS9 and FSX-Version
  • Compatibility optimization for AI-Traffic of WOAI. Shadows in FSX for WOAI models are now visible

Hello. I agree with Thordur - this is a great addon. It is almost as good as Flytampa's range of airports and is not at all bad even when compared to the masters - Flightzone. The textures are excellent but have no impact on framerates. Perhaps the only disappointment is that it does not appear to snow in Hannover - in other words, there is no winter texture. This product is definately excellent value. Regards Gareth John

This is a great photoreal airport with almost no impact on framerates. The ground around the airport is "live", lot of moving cars. It is though a minus that it do not offer moving gates, but the prise is fare so I can´t ask for more. Well done Aerosoft!!
