Maastricht-Aachen airport is a busy regional airport on the Dutch/Belgium/German border. It`s popular with cargo companies and low cost carriers (like GermanWings and RyanAir) because of its location. It is close to many major cities and the industry heart of Belgium and Germany.

It’s also the airport that EUROCONTROL choose as its home base because of this central location. Next to the cargo and passenger flights the airport has two flying school and a lot of general aviation traffic.

The version that Andras Kozma made for Aerosoft is a small marvel of state of the art scenery design. Even though nearly all buildings and structured are modelled in great detail and textured with photographic textures the framerate remains remarkably high and fluent. Unlike many other airports it also got a very lively feel to it with many animations. It’s a perfect location for you regional flights around Western Europe and online flying.

This is another nice airport package from aerosoft I'm very happy with this so as always well done to the aerosoft team on a fantastic scenery 5stars from me;):)

It is a pity, but no stars for Maastricht-X. The arrows an striping on the Runway are misty, not sharp! The runway is not looking good. But the worst of all! Is that some Taxiways are not hard! It is like rolling on mud! Or on a Grass-way. And that is not normal! Because i have not this experience with several other airports, distributed by Aerosoft. But... try it out yourself. I've come to the conclusion after testing this it's no go for IFR approcaches. I can't land without the proper approach charts that's not including which renders the scenery useless. Now I see why it's a low price. Looks aren't always the best think I'm very suprised at Aerosoft for doing this I have a lot of Aerosoft sceneries that doesn't do this. It's a waste.

I bought this scenery today and i'm quite pleased with it. Nice little airport with detailed buildings. The only reason I didn't give the scenery a 5 star was because there's no animations like advertised. Maybe in FSX you get animations but I use FS9. Other than that a great product for the price.
