Nice Côte d`Azur Airport (or in French: Aéroport Nice Côte d`Azur) is the third most important airport in France and is often also seen as the only airport of Monaco.

The international airport of Nice is located at the south coast of France (Côte d‘Azur). The airport is the third businesst airport of France. Located on the Mediterranean coast the weather, mostly turbulence can make it a bit daunting at times, something that is not made better by rather complex noise abatement procedures. All in all a airport that is a bit special and that’s always nice.

While approaching or departing the airport pilots get an impressive view over the mountain landscape and the city of Nice.

Looks great, works great. Very smooth and rich in details. No problems with glare or anything. Using it with Prepar3d v2.5.

This is a very lovely scenery. I love sceneries that are near water. The textures are great for the most part except some of the jetways are shimmering; in reference to what Richard Micola said. I had a great landing using the Airbus Extended X which picked up the R04L ILS on approach. However, after taxing to gate A10, I somehow crashed. I wasn't even close to the Terminal 1. So I give this scenery 4 stars ****.

I am sorry, but i agree with the first reviewer! NiceX is Shimmering on my PC. I can try what i want. But the shimmering stays! There is no Mip Mapping option within the packett. NiceX needs Mip-Mapping! Because so many other Airports that i bought from Aerosoft, are without Shimmering! On my High-End PC. I wish other buyers more Luck with Nice X, than i have experienced with NX. Anyway Sans Rancune ! From Richard Netherlands.

Bought this in June 2011. Use it in FS2004. Great scenery. Great frame rates, Unlike LFPO, there is no shimmering. Textures are just right. Highly recommended.

4-5-2010 Robert Gotte After reading the first review, i hesitated bying this product. Aersoft products are usually very good, so i tried to find more test of Nice Cote D'Azur for FSX. Then i found out there are 2 major updates for the product, bringing it to a standard, usual for Aerosoft products. So i bought the title, and downloaded the original file and the 2 updates directly from SimMarket, and... This airport, its surroundings are GREAT. It really is a place you want to fly to and from!! It is also nice looking to Nice from the water, with Canrenado's Cessna 206 floatplane! That's why i can recommend it! Happy flying hours!

The scenery looks nice in the screen shots, however doesn't perform very well and shimmers a lot due to not having mipmaps. Out of all the Aerosoft sceneries I have purchased, this is probably the worst one. They say in their forums they are working on a second patch to correct the issues. I am very disappointed since I had been looking forward to this product for a long time.
