Romania's busiest international airport,still best known as Bucharest Otopeni International Airport but officialy named since 2004 as Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport,after the turbojet inventor,is one of the most important airports of eastern Europe, now for your Flight Simulator sp2 dx9,Steam Edition and Lockheed Martin Prepar3d v4 and lower.

Designed with great looks and performance in mind,the airport does feature animated jetways(FSX only),working Visual Docking Guidance System (Safedock T1 & T3-9 type),animated windsocks,smoke,birds,static aircrafts and custom approach lights and taxiway lights.

Important: The v2.4 package was updated (as of 7/31/2017) to include the Afl0Sim LROP Utility (if you installed the latest update from Afl0Sim website that includes the Utilty,then you don't have to do anithing. Also note that no changes were necessary for the compatibility with P3Dv4.The version you use on v3 works the same on v4.

Positives: Excellent airport detailing. Lovely daytime runway lighting on both runways. Good framerates. Works well will with SamScene Bucharest Realcity. Really clever birds animation over airport. Negatives: Airbridges/gates not SODE compliant. Airbridges/gates don't work properly with CTL J keyboard function. Terrible night time lighting of airport.

Only 3* from me I'm afraid. Although the detailing and feel of Otopeni is good, the auto gates problem has not been fixed for using P3D v4+ meaning they are not SODE or CTL J compatible. The night time lighting is poor with runway, taxiway and flood lighting all appearing as unrealistic white cubes.

This airport is highly detailed right down to each line and pavement marking in the taxi and runways. I am impressed with the level of work that went into this project. I do not expect much overall, but this product went above and beyond. As a result, I am giving this all five stars. (The 5th star is added because the jetways work upon Ctrl + J.)

This came up as a destination for me when scrolling through flights on British Airways Virtual so I checked out google for a scenery and this came up. Just installed it and read that one man designed this! I am blown away, just wanted to say great work on this one and I am highly impressed. I am running P3D V4.4 and it works great. Excited to fly here from Heathrow in the A321! Glad I came across this scenery. Keep up the amazing work friend!

Excellent scenery. Although the moving jetways don't work in P3D but everything else is performed with great accuracy and high detail level. The price is outstanding. Great job AFLOSIM! I hope to see more add-ons from your team.

AFLOSIM may vert well be at the pinnacle of the price vs. quality pyramid. Excellent product buy with absolute confidence. Look forward to your new material whatever you decide to develop.

I've never written a review so far (i don't know why if i'm honest) but this one deserves it. Buying this was one of the most pleasant surprises for me so far regarding sceneries. Seamless installation, beautifully made with excellent performance both in terms of fps and vas usage. Lots of details with fully functional jetways and docking systems makes it one of the must buy addons. Same goes for Cluj airport also made by AflOSim. Keep up the good work and looking forward to future projects.

This Airport has almost everything you want from an Airport. Cant find any flaws. Outstanding!

Ich habe mir die Szenerie Bucharest von AFLOSIM gekauft, damit ich bei meinen langen Flügen von Stuttgart nach Istanbul oder Antalya einen Zwischenstopp einlegen kann. Meine Erwartungen an den mir nicht bekannten Anbieter AFLOSIM waren nicht sehr hoch. Ich wurde jedoch angenehm überrascht, der Flughafen ist sehr ansehnlich und auch im Detail sehr schön. Sogar Grastexturen sind vorhanden, auch die Umgebung des Airports kann sich sehen lassen. Nach der Installation muss man den Flughafen in der Szeneriebibliothek aktivieren. Dies gelang mir anfänglich nicht. Ich habe das mal gegoogelt und erfahren dass seit Windows 7 aufwärts hier ein Bug vorhanden ist. Der lässt sich aber umgehen wenn man nach der Aktivierung mit der Maus ins weise des Szenerieordners klickt. Danach wird die Szenerie im Flusi angemeldet und alles ist Ok!

Nice airport, good work, FPS friendly and well done! Excellent job Aflosim! Just keep going in this way! Aeroporto ben fatto, senza troppo impatto su FPS, vale la pena comprarlo, soprattutto per questo prezzo!
