Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (IATA: ADD, ICAO: HAAB) is Ethiopia main airport and was ranked in 2024 as the third busiest airport in Africa. It is located in the Bole district, 6 km (3.7 mi) southeast of the city centre. It is the main hub of Ethiopian Airlines, the national airline that serves destinations in Ethiopia and throughout the African continent, with connections to Asia, Europe, North America and South America. With a permanent growth during the two last decades, it is often considered as the biggest african hub.
It has two passenger terminals( terminal 1 for domestic flights and terminal 2),a cargo terminal and a VIP terminal.
A few african and middle east carriers offer flights from and to Addis Ababa.
