AMJ studio proudly brings you one of the biggest airport in China - Shanghai Pudong International Airport to the X-Plane community.
The airport, about 40 square kilometres in total, is located in the east part of Shanghai, and ranks one of the busiest airports in the world. Flights from Pudong connect all continents globally, even during the pandemic. The airport features two terminals and a newly introduced satellite concourse, together with maintenance and cargo aprons.
The scenery by AMJ studio will bring you one of the most detailed version of this particular airport in X-Plane history, with hundreds of hand-placed objects and custom made textures.
The scenery features the following highlights:
- Accurate airport layout according to latest charts
- Custom buildings including terminals, satellite concourse, maintenance and cargo facilities
- Tunnels connecting terminals and the satellite concourse
- SAM compatibility
- Friendly FPS
- Static aircrafts including the warm-welcomed Juneyao Air special liveries
- CAAC style taxi signs available
Update v1.1 (01APR2021)
1. Added the newly built east tower building between RWY16L/34R and 15/33
2. Fixed yellow objects near gate number 152
3. Fixed some random roads inside the airport
4. Fixed the coastline textures
5. Reduced grass density and attached different dsfs for grass and static aircraft modification
6. Added airline tags for Cargo Rampstarts (301-347) and GA starts (Z11-Z38)
7. Fixed other minor issues
Please be noted that considering the system efficiency, we don't make transparent windows and interior model for the terminal for the current version. Will consider for future version.
Also the jetway type from gate 25-32 are not the same as the real operation currently - will definitely update to the current configuration in future release.

Requirements
Platform - X-Plane 11
Minimum requirements:
CPU: Intel i5-4430 or equilvalent processors
RAM: 8 GB (number of objects selected to MIDDLE) / 16GB (number of objects selected to MAXIMUM)
This is advertised as XP11/12 but hasn't been updated to XP12 standards, I don't even know if it's been updated once during XP12's life cycle. Lot's of potential but a lot to improve on, the glass reflections being the first thing in my opinion. Ortho is very well done tho!
WOW,WOW,WOW,WOW,JUST LIKE BEING AT A REAL AIRPORT EVERYTHING RUNS SO SMOOTHLY I HAVE A LOW END PC AND I CAN RUN THIS ON MY GTX 1060 GRAPHICS CARD REALLY SMOOTHY.
ITS DEFINATLEY A MUST HAVE.
Solid scenery. Would like to see more from these guys, as Asia lacks quality scenery. Hopefully an RCTP, RJTT, VHHH from them. Price is a bit steep, but the quality is phenomenal, performance-friendly.
机场做的很精细,配合上海地景,再配合Zibo738, 用来在上海练习起降,值得拥有!
The airport is fantastic. I bought it with Shanghai City. It feels great to practice flying ZIBO738 with all this.
While this is a good scenery, it is not quite complete and the work on the glass reflections look a bit odd especially at the end of the gates. I can understand the developer not using transparency as this would impact the performance on such a large airport. It is still not a version 1.0 as the download is entitled RC 1.1
The developer gives the following information in the documentation.
•
For Pudong version 1, we don't make the terminals
transparent and there is nothing inside the building, just to
make the FPS more friendly. Future plans will have interiors
modelled when X-Plane could run more efficiently.
