"Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport, is the main international airport in Georgia, located 17 km (11 mi) southeast of the capital Tbilisi.nThe first airport terminal building was constructed in 1952. Designed by the architect V. Beridze in the style of Stalinist architecture the building featured a floor plan with symmetric axes and a monumental risalit in the form of a portico. The two side wings featured blind arcades in giant order. A new terminal building was finished in 1990, designed in the International style. In 1981 Tbilisi airport was the 12th largest airport in the Soviet Union, with 1,478,000 passengers on so-called central lines, that is on flights connecting Tbilisi with cities in other Soviet republics. In 1998, the number of passengers had shrunk to 230,000 per year.nnTbilisi International Airport is operated by TAV since October 2005. In Georgia, the company also operates Batumi Airport for 20-year term starting from May 2007.TAV Airports Holding, which owns 76% shares in Tbilisi airport operator TAV Urban Georgia, agreed with the Georgian state-owned United Airports of Georgia to reconstruct the unused runway, one of the two runways at the Tbilisi airport. The old runway will be reconstructed and extended according to ICAO standards and code F regulations and will be able to accept all type of aircraft, including the Boeing 747-8, Airbus A380-800, Antonov An-225 and Antonov An-124. A new F Code taxiway is also planned.nnPassenger traffic at the airport tripled between 2009 and 2016 to 2.2 million passengers.

Nice modelling of the buildings. I personally don't like the big patches of green grass that look a little unnatural. Overall ok for the price.

By now I was hoping that there would have been some sort of updates, yet nothing. None has been done to accommodate the MSFS2020 updates, I find it very harsh on the frame rates as well. Please could you update your product will greatly appreciate it.

This is a long awaited airport, So exciting when I saw, I bought no questions asked. I gave it 3 stars reason for it are as following. There are many missing buildings and trees plus the lonely old helicopter landing pad on the left side of the taxi way to RWY 13. Yet the train station main terminals and airport buildings are amazing. Well done old chap. The air base is a total shambles, nothing done on it and this was the main reason for the 3 stars. If there are to be updates then please fix these areas up and The buildings around the airport as well, then will I give it a 5 star. But still a great add on mate, keep it up.Plus Georgia rocks needs lots of TLC.

There is some problems with new terminal - it becomes visible only after staying near it for some meters. Being on the runway after landing, the building of the terminal was absent. Some bug to fix!
