
Ningbo Lishe opened in 1984. In 1990 it became the first entirely civilian used airport of Zhejiang Province. Nowadays it has links to Taiwan, Macau, Seoul, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Osaka and other major destinations in Asia.

Runway 13/31 is 3200 m long and 45 m wide. In reality, gates 1 to 7 are fitted with a Visual Docking Guidance System.
