Details

Gimpo International (ICAO: RKSS, IATA: GMP) is the airport of Seoul, the capital of South Korea. It has two runways (14L / 32R and 14R / 32L) and is closer to the city center than the newer Incheon Airport.

Many K-pop stars, like Girls Generation or T-Ara, departure from Gimpo when they start their tours in Asia. That's why this airport in Asia is well known.

International flights to and from Gimpo are operated by Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Korea Express Air, Shanghai Airlines and Jeju Air. Nationally, Eastar Jet, Air Busan and Jin Air fly to Gimpo.

Windsocks are animated in P3D and FSX. They showing wind direction and strength. A docking guidance system is not included, but a file for GSX users with presets included. All jetways are animated with SODE. Likewise, the approach lights, which are automatically activated in rain, snow and poor visibility.

Radar antennas, runway guarding lights and occasional ground vehicles are animated too.

Don't be fooled by the screenshots if you're running P3Dv4! The textures look great! I was a little bit worried because their other release, which is older than this one looked so much better (P3D version), but I trusted the other reviews here and took a chance, and I'm gonna tell you, I'm glad I did. Scenery looks great, airport has been updated numerous times for free already and you will find all kinds of optional settings. Works great with GSX and SODE/VGDS. Great job Asian Airports! I own A LOT of other airports in Asia (Japan) and this is close up there with the best ones! I hope to see more from you guys soon! regards, Igor

I'm living closed to Gimpo Int'l Airport and working as a cockpit crew in airline. This scenery is perfect comparing with a real one. Detailed building, jetway, taxiway and apron texture and locations, etc. Furthermore, the creators keep the product up-to-date. This guys send me back some emails promptly and thoughtfully for my feedback and questions regarding scenery's reality and some problems of using it. This Asian Airport scenery and creator never gonna let you down for sure.

Great Airport for Korea! Lots of routes to fly out of Seoul's second international airport. Airport itself is well made and I appreciate the SODE implementation. The only thing it's missing is some 3D grass. That will bring the scenery to 5 stars. Some interesting facts: In 2018, Seoul Gimpo to Jeju Island route became the worlds busiest route. 79460 flights annually flown by 7 different carriers. Thanks for the great scenery and hope to see some updates in the future.

WOW this is a fantastic airport scenery package definitely is ;) well done to the scenery team on this package definitely is a must have scenery package love everything about it lots of detailed scenery and even more around the airport area and the terminals and cargo area is fantastic aswell.definitely 5 stars from me love it 100% well worth buying this ;) :)
