The LIPV scenario you download is in two versions; the basic one, which reflects the real situation today, and the "L" one, where the runway lights are on at night. At Nicelli the lights are there, but in reality they have not been active for years.

The airport of Venice Lido, officially known as Giovanni Nicelli Airport, is located on the island of Lido, in Venice. It is mainly used for private and non-commercial flights, including light aircraft and helicopter services. The airport is located in a strategic position that offers easy access to the tourist attractions of Venice, but does not serve regular scheduled flights like Venice’s Marco Polo airport.

Nicelli Airport, located on the Lido of Venice, has an interesting history dating back to the early 20th century. Here are some highlights of its history:

- The airport was opened in 1916 and initially used as a military airfield during World War I.
- In the 1920s and 1930s, the airport began to be used for civilian flights. During this period, it served as a base for domestic and international flights.
- After the war, on 18 August 1926, from the runway of San Nicolò airport at Lido took off the first Italian scheduled flight, operated by Società Anonima Transadriatica; it was directed to Vienna via Klagenfurt and was carried out with trimotors Junkers G 24. Lido airport became the first airfield in Italy.
- In 1927 and 1928 the famous aviator Mario de Bernardi achieved world records of flying speed, aboard a Macchi M.52 and a Macchi M.52bis.
- Over the years, the airport has undergone various changes and improvements, keeping up to date infrastructure to meet the needs of private flights and general aviation.
- The airport is named after Giovanni Nicelli, an Italian airman ace of the air force.
- Today, the Nicelli airport is mainly known for its use by private and recreational aircraft, contributing to tourism and mobility in Venice.

Nicelli Airport in Venice is often praised for its panoramic position and the unique context in which it is located. Being located on the Lido of Venice, surrounded by water and with a view of the lagoon, it offers a picturesque and charming atmosphere.
The terminal, an example of perfectly preserved 1930s architecture, started in 1926 and solemnly inaugurated on 4 February 1935, is the oldest commercial airport in Italy. This year marks the 90th anniversary of its birth. In 2014, the airport was named one of the ten most beautiful airports in the world by the BBC, edited by Jonathan Glancey. Equipped with elegant interior spaces and spacious gardens and outdoor terraces, it is the ideal location for meetings and conferences, private dinners and events, exclusive parties, art exhibitions and film shoots.

Lo scenario LIPV che scaricate è in due versioni; quella di base, che rispecchia la situazione reale ad oggi, e quella "L", dove le luci della pista sono accese di notte. Al Nicelli le luci ci sono, ma in realtà da anni non sono più attive.

L'aeroporto Venezia Lido, ufficialmente noto come Aeroporto Giovanni Nicelli, è situato sull'isola del Lido, a Venezia. È principalmente utilizzato per voli privati e non commerciali, inclusi voli aerei leggeri e servizi di elicottero. L'aeroporto è situato in una posizione strategica che offre un facile accesso alle attrazioni turistiche di Venezia, ma non serve voli di linea regolari come l'aeroporto Marco Polo di Venezia.

L'Aeroporto Nicelli, situato sul Lido di Venezia, ha una storia interessante che risale all'inizio del XX secolo. Ecco alcuni punti salienti della sua storia:

- Nel corso degli anni, l'aeroporto ha subito varie modifiche e miglioramenti, mantenendo aggiornate le infrastrutture per soddisfare le esigenze dei voli privati e di aviazione generale.
- L'aeroporto prende il nome da Giovanni Nicelli, un aviatore italiano asso dell'aeronautica militare.
- Oggi, l'aeroporto Nicelli è conosciuto principalmente per il suo utilizzo da parte di aerei privati e da diporto, contribuendo al turismo e alla mobilità a Venezia.

L'Aeroporto Nicelli di Venezia è spesso elogiato per la sua posizione panoramica e il contesto unico nel quale si trova. Essendo situato sul Lido di Venezia, circondato da acqua e con una vista sulla laguna, offre un'atmosfera pittoresca e affascinante.
L’aerostazione, esempio di architettura anni Trenta perfettamente conservata, iniziata nel 1926 e solennemente inaugurata il 4 febbraio 1935, è il più antico scalo commerciale d’Italia.
