    • Description

    The airport occupies an area of 15 square kilometers. Beside the airport proper, this includes a royal terminal, facilities of the Royal Saudi Air Force, and housing facilities for the airport staff. Construction work on KAIA airport began in 1974, and was finalized in 1980. Finally, on 31 May 1981, the airport opened for service after being officially inaugurated in April 1981.

    I like the scenery so much but, there are 2 main problems beside some other minors which make me remove it until I receive the new update. I contacted customer support 3 months back and they said they are working on it... 1- FPS ..... extremely bad performance. 2- Scenery transparency... Some add on aircraft dose not appear on this scenery... only lights of aircraft... I have to disable aircraft shadow than they work fine.. PLEASE UPDATE OR ITS WAIST OF MONEY I will change my review until solve these issues Thank you

    I don't know what version of flight simulator people are reviewing but I'm using FSX with a pretty decent system. When coupled with PMDG 777 I get 1 FPS. Love the scenery, hate the performance. That pretty much renders it useless for me.

    Great Scenery - had a few issues with scenery, contacted developers and was sent files to fix. Finally a fantastic rendition of this great scenery. Definitely recommended to purchase

    Good addon overall, faced some small issues that should be fixed: 1. No glide slope. 2. Heavy fps during the day, and extremely heavy during the night that I could not use it during night flights , and this even with fsx sp2. 3. The runway texture fades in some areas while rolling on the runway, takeoff/landings. As said above the details are beautiful and worth the purchase, but please correct the above flows. Thank you,

    Another great addition in Middle East destination. Lot of additional details as compared to other designers. The new construction with the tower cranes reflects the same realism as in real. Haj terminal and other buildings are also detailed. Highly recommended for the simmers interested in flying to Saudi Arabia specially the VA's operating Haj & Umrah Flights.

    The scenery is outstanding and very detailed.. What BDOAVIATION did by all means is a great job and the scenery worth it!!...The only problem is at night the scenery is very heavy and almost unflyable because of the Rwy's lighting.. So service pack is needed to fix this important issue.

    Well, I must admit this is one of the most details scenery I ever seen, lots of details, updates on bulding with the South, North, VIP and Hajj terminal (include many areas as on the real world). Pretty much another excellent product from BDOAviation!
