    It's MiG!
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 (Russian: Микоян и Гуревич МиГ-15; NATO reporting name: "Fagot") is a jet fighter developed for the Soviet Union by Mikoyan-Gurevich OKB.
MiG-15 was one of the first successful swept-wing jet fighters, and it achieved fame in the skies over Korea, where early in the war, it outclassed all straight-winged enemy fighters in most applications.
MiG-15 is believed to have been one of the most widely produced jet aircraft ever made, with over 12,000 built. Licensed foreign production perhaps raised the total to over 18,000.
MiG-15 is often mentioned along with the North American F-86 Sabre as among the best fighter aircraft of the Korean War and in comparisons with fighters of other eras.
MiG-15bis is an improved MiG-15 version; the main difference is the improved engine, the Klimov VK-1. Its level speed at sea level was increased by 26 km/h to 1,076 km/h.
Noticeable change is a huge improvement of thrust-to-weight ratio which increased the acceleration by ~10% and it also has a huge impact on its climb rate, it can reach up to 50 m/s at low altitude with full fuel tanks, making the MiG-15bis one of the best climbing planes compared to other planes at similar battle rating. It is now better at performing vertical loop and other similar maneuvers because of the better engine. But new engine has more fuel combustion rate, and less internal fuel tank capacity to reduce flight endurance or range.
The other modifications include hydro booster ailerons control to help aircraft keep high roll rate when maneuver, improved avionics, radio navigation, and NR-23 guns has more rapid fire rate.
It also served as the starting point for development of the more advanced MiG-17.
Now BearStudios takes this flight legend aircraft in Prepar3D and FSX world.

    Features of the BearStudios MiG-15bis:

I’ve had a very good experience with their Mig17 as well, so why not go for the Mig15 bid? I sat on it in my wishlist for a long time and finally bought it. So glad I did! The texturing is noticeably improved making for some beautiful aircraft. Lots of reflection and clean looking air frames. Even though they are all very old, they appear as if they just rolled off the line. Some may not like that but I don’t mind so much. There aren’t as many repaints as with the 17, but what you do get is still a very nice selection to choose from. I didn’t count but I think there is at least a dozen plus liveries!  The aircraft handle as expected and seem spot on to the historic documentation available.  Only real complaint is that after a while of flying the compass goes berserk and I keep getting a FSX notice that my compass is incorrect and to push “D” which only sends the compass spinning. The back up dash compass remains accurate but the console one among all the other gauges is the problem.  Everything is of course in Russian with almost no data pop ups when scrolling the mouse over any switch, dial or button. That would’ve helped a lot. So get ready to read and memorize the manual specifically the cockpit layout info. Unless you speak and read Russian.  I also wish there was more accuracy in the engine modeling. It should not be difficult to over heat the power plant but I can’t do it no matter how hot the weather is or how long I push full throttle, she won’t overheat. But she should! That missing element of realism bugs me a little, but I can live with it I suppose. Overall the Mig15bis here is a mostly awesome plane! Looks great next to my MilViz F86, and F100.

After many years of owning Bear Studios older (and at times, frustrating) MiG-15 offering for FSX I came across this. At first I thought it was just an update of the old offering for P3D with FSX compatibility. It is not. It is an all new offering and it looks great in FSX. Gone are the baked in shadows of the old version with modern texturing applied. The planes are all really shiny, which is good because a a few of the textures represent civilian or museum owned MiG-15s! They are N15YY from the Combat Air Museum of Topeka, Kansas, 079 from the Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington, NX87CN from Planes of Fame in Chino, California, NX90589 from the Oakland Aviation Museum, Oakland, California and my favorite (as it was the first MiG-15 I had ever seen in person on the ground and in the air) PLAAF 4115. The version in the sim has no N number but the former Combat Jets Flying Museum MiG-15 N15MG (now residing at EAA in Oshkosh) represents this plane. Best of all, this sim had done away with whatever would randomly cut out your hydraulic pump in the old version! Now the two items that kept it from getting the fifth star. Textures. While they look great and are reflective and shiny when appropriate, the camouflaged aircraft are also shiny (as are flap internals, landing gear and wheel wells. Planes. While it's great that all the planes in this addon come under one entry in Sim Objects (vs the myriad of offerings in the old one) there is no two seater offered this time around. I can only hope that comes later along with a similar update for their MiG-17!
