____ History ____
All began in 1986 when Polaris Motors SRL, the first manufacturer of ultralight hang gliders, joined forces with Lomac, a leading manufacturer of inflatable boats, to design the Polaris Flying Inflatable Boat, which is similar to the Rigid Inflatable Boat we know today.nnThe semi-rigid boat is known for its exceptional nautical qualities and its unparalleled carrying capacity.nnThe passive safety inherent in the inflatable formula (lightness, resistance to capsizing) and the glide of the semi-rigid hull make it the ideal candidate for landing and taking off in optimal safety conditions, even in rough seas.nnAnd the formula has worked beyond all expectations, with more than 1500 units spread around the world since 1987.nnGovernments, environmental associations, special forces, private companies, yachtsmen, hotels and resorts, but above all a large majority of enthusiasts use it throughout the world.
Notes
This product features our simInstaller technology and is available after purchase via our APP only.
Great aircraft but no SU5 update so far, water rudder is not working and it has no water effects. Its very fun to fly but maybe to add a version with a little more powerfull engine (although unrealistic) would be nice to fly over larger areas
A Really Fun UltraLight, With attention to detail such as the "WingFlex". All we need is proper water simualtion AKA SeaPlane Support from Asobo.
I Recommend This Addon, Perfect to visit small areas with small lakes and landing strips... actually you dont really need a Landing strip, a relatively flat clearing area is enough!
Very good to fly and explore I was exploring some of the piers ain't the English coast available to download at flight sim. to, although I found it not to Bob up and down so much on the sea as I would have expected and send no collision on the bottom of the boat as water comes up through it, maybe its a limitation if msfs at the moment but hope it can be fixed, well worth the price though in my opinion
Definitely an interesting aircraft. MSFS 2020 version 1.15.10.0 keeps crashing while loading this aircraft. So there will certainly be an update. After troubleshooting, a well-founded assessment can then be made.
Si vous voulez regagner la terre ferme,Il suffit de l'abaisser juste avant le toucher dans l'eau ce qui ne cause pas gêne à l'amerrissage;
Very good little bird!
I very much enjoy flying this Amphibious Ultralight around... well... everywhere! It sure is an interesting addition to my hanger and will definitely be a keeper.
PROS:
- Very high quality textures
- Flight model seems on point for an aircraft like this
- Looks beautiful
- Literally stalls at 15 knots
CONS:
- It seems a bit heavy with the propeller torque, but I'm going to assume that it is just because of how light the plane is
NOTES/QUESTIONS:
- What is the service ceiling? I have found that slewing up to about 8000 feet warrants some great views, but I'm not sure if that's very realistic.
If you are looking to buy this product, I highly recommend it. Just know what you are getting into, its not very fast and it is definitely a unique plane.
Thanks BlueMesh!
The ultra light is a very nice product in it's own right.
By me it is a bit hard to get off the runway but this is my first impression.
The big advantage is the ability to fly from land and water.
