  • Full PBR high quality 4K-2K textures
  • Full working cockpit
  • FPS friendly

____ Flight Model_____

The flight Model is upgraded every weeks. We work with a real Ultra Light pilot : "L1onel"

Water comportement: It's actually hard to do something clean for take off or landing on water, it seems to don't make the airplane slower with floats. And we don't have any parameters for that.

Water rudder and rudder: The water rudder is directly parented to the rudder so we can't delete the rudder effect during a flight.

____ History ____

All began in 1986 when Polaris Motors SRL, the first manufacturer of ultralight hang gliders, joined forces with Lomac, a leading manufacturer of inflatable boats, to design the Polaris Flying Inflatable Boat, which is similar to the Rigid Inflatable Boat we know today.nnThe semi-rigid boat is known for its exceptional nautical qualities and its unparalleled carrying capacity.nnThe passive safety inherent in the inflatable formula (lightness, resistance to capsizing) and the glide of the semi-rigid hull make it the ideal candidate for landing and taking off in optimal safety conditions, even in rough seas.nnAnd the formula has worked beyond all expectations, with more than 1500 units spread around the world since 1987.nnGovernments, environmental associations, special forces, private companies, yachtsmen, hotels and resorts, but above all a large majority of enthusiasts use it throughout the world.

Great aircraft but no SU5 update so far, water rudder is not working and it has no water effects. Its very fun to fly but maybe to add a version with a little more powerfull engine (although unrealistic) would be nice to fly over larger areas

"landing gear" not quite reliable. Wait for an update. Can only land in very calm water, but this is probably correct.

Very good to fly and explore I was exploring some of the piers ain't the English coast available to download at flight sim. to, although I found it not to Bob up and down so much on the sea as I would have expected and send no collision on the bottom of the boat as water comes up through it, maybe its a limitation if msfs at the moment but hope it can be fixed, well worth the price though in my opinion

Very good little bird!

I very much enjoy flying this Amphibious Ultralight around... well... everywhere! It sure is an interesting addition to my hanger and will definitely be a keeper.

PROS:

- Very high quality textures
- Flight model seems on point for an aircraft like this
- Looks beautiful
- Literally stalls at 15 knots

CONS:

- It seems a bit heavy with the propeller torque, but I'm going to assume that it is just because of how light the plane is

NOTES/QUESTIONS:

- What is the service ceiling? I have found that slewing up to about 8000 feet warrants some great views, but I'm not sure if that's very realistic.

If you are looking to buy this product, I highly recommend it. Just know what you are getting into, its not very fast and it is definitely a unique plane.

Thanks BlueMesh!

The ultra light is a very nice product in it's own right.
By me it is a bit hard to get off the runway but this is my first impression.
The big advantage is the ability to fly from land and water.

This is a great little Ultralight. Now I can finally land on smaller ponds. This is definitely low and slow but that's just fine. This plane looks great and handles great. No issues.

Jimmy from BlueMesh was very engaging and responsive to my initial review and released an update today that includes brakes and way better ground handling as well as improved aileron response in air. There are some limitations of MSFS' current implementation of water physics that create some issues, but the developer is working with a real pilot of this aircraft and is interested in keeping realism to the maximum, so - to address any potential concerns here is a few things he pointed out that I thought would be useful to know

- Real aircraft is not equipped with a radio, that's why it's inop.
- There is no airspeed indicator on it, either.
- Drifty behaviour is normal and according to the pilot it's actually a very challenging aircraft to fly, so a lot of that behaviour corresponds with the real-life behaviour of the aircraft.

I do recommend this aircraft as I expect Asobo will eventually improve water physics and behaviour of seaplanes in MSFS.

Thanks to Jimmy and BlueMesh for a fun aircraft and for being responsive and fair.

Very nice realization, what a pleasure to pilot a real flying boat that allows us to take the time to admire the landscape and land anywhere! It is really representative of those that we can find in reality and the flight model seems very interesting considering the shape of the plane. Finally, the developer of this plane remains very contactable to submit your suggestions for improvements if you have any.
You can buy it without hesitation especially considering its low price.

Such a pleasure to fly it, as much as I use to enjoy to fly the real one in real life. Very detailed aircraft for more realism. Fun to fly and land everywhere.
The designer improve it very often , which make it a good investment for the long term too.
A must have in my collection ;-)

This ultralight can be fun to fly, but has several issues at the time of writing that hopefully can be addressed. Namely, the water rudder behaves unpredictably. In all of my attempts navigating through water, the rudder simply ignores my commands after a few seconds, that is to say after holding the right rudder for a few seconds and the rudder working as expected, it stops (even with no change in speed.) In the water, the boat has a strong tendency to nearly flip in wind. While this might be somewhat accurate given that it has a glider wing attached to it, the effect feels overpowered.

The aircraft also has flight model quirks in the air and on the ground. The same tilting is prominent when taxiing. The aircraft seems to nose-over at times, including when dropping the gear, to an unrealistic degree requiring correction (if it doesn't correct itself just as unrealistically.)

Sound-wise, pretty much all of the sounds feel like they're from the wrong aircraft. Other than landing gear I think all sounds are generic Asobo sounds. If the wheels (when retracted) make contact with the water you will hear very loud contact noises, as if you're repeatedly banging your gear into a hard surface. This may be intentional but is distracting as I've only landed on calm waters. I've been on a boat and the sound of water slapping the boat is noticeable, but not this loud.

There are also sounds that just shouldn't be there. The fuel pump can be activated with hotkeys/peripheral switches and even makes a sound, though I don't suspect this thing has a fuel pump. Similarly when landing (on land) the Morse code for the localizer started going off, but from where? I don't see a radio anywhere in the aircraft.

Visually, the ultralight looks nice but I'd love to see a bit of flex in the glider itself.

With some work this could be worth the (small) asking price, but without that work it feels like it's a step above being solid freeware.
