The Caudron C.430 "Rafale" is a two-seater monoplane (or single-seater by closing the front seat), built by the company Caudron-Renault. It was designed by Marcel Riffard for the training of pilots who had to use racing machines like the Caudron C.362 or C450/460
The history of the F-AMVB is less known, until November 30, 1934, when Hélène Boucher died at Guyancourt during a training flight at its controls. This Addon is dedicated in memory of her.

A charming plane :
A simple aircraft very intuitive to use for a casual player with little flight know-how, like me. It's a bit messy when taking-off (I reckon from the other comments that's to be expected with this kind of plane) but easy to maneuver once airborne.
The model is pleasing to the eye and well made with wear and tear inside the cockpit and some extra liveries.
Very good value for a no-nonsense little plane. Thanks a lot !
Very pleasant aircraft. I love le spin start at too low speed. Just a wish: a portable hidable radio to allow the use of the ATC. I know , it's not historical, but we fly over present scenery ...
I have to agree with John, the VR experience is not the greatest. Whenever you turn your head to the sides or rear, your view goes outside the canopy and that breaks immersion very quickly. In addition, I have a strange "fish-eye" effect in VR, where it feels like the view is distorted and proportions feel unnatural.
Otherwise the model is very well done. It looks great and sounds great and flies well. However, I cannot shake the feeling that the plane is not natural. The instrument panel for example is very well done, but the dials have a generic feel and even the wear and tear marks look somewhat fake.
But perhaps I'm over-critical. The bottom line is that for the price this is actually an excellent aircraft. You won't regret the purchase, just don't expect perfection.
What an amazing little thing!
Flies beautifully, I expected it to be quite hard to fly, or rather take off and land, but its not too bad, you need to work the pedals but it has good response and it takes off and lands nicely, so far I have been successful every time!
En VR no esta bien recreado te sientes encerrado dentro de la gabina es demasiada estrecha y al girar la cabeza te sales de la gabina por lo de mas bien espero que solucionen ese defecto pronto para poder tener una mejor inmersión en VR .
A beautiful and historic aeroplane well modelled by the developers. I really enjoy these classic aircraft in MSFS 2020, great fun and hats off to them for developing unusual aircraft.
This is a fun plane to fly...the textures are quite nice, the flight model is challenging but not over the top. Take-off's and landings are quite controllable and it is well worth the money. It's not the fastest model out there and the sounds could be a little better but all in all, you'll like this plane. It punches nice holes in the clouds... Good Job, Bluemesh!
