Cruzeiro do Sul International Airport (IATA: CZS, ICAO: SBCZ) serves, in addition to the city of Cruzeiro do Sul, the cities of Rodrigues Alves and Mâncio Lima, in Acre, and Guajará, in Amazonas. It is capable of operating regional, national and international flights and has the capacity to receive even medium-sized aircraft, such as the Boeing 737.
It is the westernmost airport in Brazil. Due to problems on the road connecting Cruzeiro do Sul to the capital of Acre, Rio Branco, Cruzeiro do Sul airport has become the only link between the cities of western Acre and the capital. Cruzeiro do Sul Airport is 592 km in a straight line from the capital's airport.
