Teresina Airport - Senador Petrônio Portella (IATA: THE, ICAO: SBTE) is an airport located in the municipality of Teresina, in Piauí. It is the main airport in the state of Piauí. It mainly serves the Integrated Development Region of Greater Teresina, as well as the entire state of Piauí, a large part of Maranhão and a small area of western Ceará.

4km away from the city center, it operates national and regional flights and is the main access to Piauí to get to know the tourist attractions spread throughout the state.

It is located about 350km from the coast, at an altitude of 67 meters above sea level and has runways with luminous beacons at night. From an operational point of view, it has great strategic importance, as it is an airport connecting the North and Northeast of the country. The airport also has a Cargo Logistics Terminal (TECA).
