Paulo Afonso Airport, (IATA: PAV, ICAO: SBUF) is a public aerodrome located on Highway BA-210, in the municipality of the same name, in the state of Bahia. In the Territorial Unit of Planning - UTP of Paulo Afonso there are two aerodromes, one in the proper city and the other in Canindé do São Francisco, but the first one was the only one that operated regular flights. It is five kilometers from the city center and close to the following airports: Aracaju International Airport (SBAR), Petrolina International Airport (SBPL) and Juazeiro do Norte Airport (SBJU)
