Uruguaiana/Rubem Berta International Airport (IATA: URG, ICAO: SBUG) is an international airport in the municipality of Uruguaiana, in Rio Grande do Sul. With more than 700 thousand meters of built-up area, this is one of the largest airports in the interior in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, and one of the three operated by Infraero, alongside Pelotas and Bagé.
The airport has great international commercial strategic importance, given that it is located equidistant from Porto Alegre, Montevideo, Buenos Aires and Asunción. On October 27, 2015, it resumed regular commercial flights, with the start of operations by Azul Linhas Aéreas to Porto Alegre.
