This handcrafted model lets you feel the thrill and challenge of flying one of history’s most ambitious designs.

Every detail has been crafted with meticulous attention to historical accuracy, balancing performance, handling, and visual authenticity. While certain aspects of the original cannot be perfectly recreated in the simulator, this mod delivers an immersive and rewarding flying experience that captures the spirit and legacy of the M.C.72.

The Macchi M.C.72 has been designed to historically accurate floatplane specifications. It is intended to be spawned only on water runways or open water surfaces.
Do not attempt to spawn on airport aprons, ramps, or other non-water surfaces.
By purchasing, you acknowledge this requirement. Support requests related to crashes, damage, or handling issues caused by improper spawning will not be accommodated.
If this limitation is not acceptable, or you prefer aircraft that operate from conventional airport ramps, this aircraft may not be suitable for you.

Installation:

Extract to your Community folder
Restart MSFS to load the aircraft

Limitations:

This aircraft is challenging to fly — takeoff requires long water run and careful throttle use
No autopilot (true to the original)
Performance may vary depending on PC hardware

Recommended Setup:

Joystick or yoke with rudder pedals for best water handling
Throttle quadrant (or mapped axis) for smooth power control
Graphics settings: High/Ultra recommended for best visual fidelity
