Work with your First Officer through spoken commands, complete interactive checklists, discuss your flight plan, and coordinate with cabin and ground crew. From cockpit preparation to parking, Captain Life brings crew interaction into your flight.

????️ Voice-Controlled First Officer

Developed with reference to Airbus FCOM, FCTM and QRH documentation, Captain Life brings structured crew procedures into your simulated cockpit.

Give spoken instructions for supported aircraft controls, including:

Flaps and landing gear
Aircraft lights
FCU altitude, heading and speed
Barometric settings

Procedural commands use local Windows speech recognition, independently of AI conversation.

Follow a structured sequence covering cockpit preparation, engine start, taxi, takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, approach, landing and parking.

Your First Officer performs supported flows, reads checklist challenges and waits for your response.

SimBrief flight-plan information and available operational data provide context for discussing the plan, threats and mitigations.

Talk naturally with your First Officer and cabin crew alongside the procedural workflow.

AI conversation uses Gemini, with generated speech provided by ElevenLabs.

Coordinate pushback through spoken communication:

Hear the available pushback directions
Specify your chosen direction
Respond to parking-brake instructions
Receive engine-start clearance
Complete the pushback and disconnection sequence

Captain Life provides its own ground communication audio in place of the default GSX crew dialogue.

???? International Crew Voices

Choose from the installed First Officer and cabin-crew voice packs.

Ground-crew voices automatically follow the airport country. An English pack is used when a matching country pack is unavailable.

???? Aircraft Audio-Panel Integration

Use the aircraft’s INT and CAB channels for ground and cabin communication.

Supported receive-volume controls adjust crew audio during playback. Communication filters add an intercom character to the sound.

???? SimBrief Integration

Import your flight plan to provide context throughout the session, including departure, destination, planned cruise altitude and other available OFP information.

???? Optional VATSIM Support

Use vPilot audio monitoring to provide ATC conversation context, with support for callsign-matched squawk and IDENT handling.

???? Dedicated Captain Life WASM Bridge

The included bridge connects Captain Life with supported aircraft variables and controls.

Simply select your MSFS Community folder during installation to install the bridge.

Record crew interactions, commands and flight events, then review the flight after completing the parking checklist.

AI conversation and generated briefing speech require your own Gemini and ElevenLabs API keys. Availability, quotas and charges depend on your provider accounts and plans.
