Description
Over 18 months of development has resulted in the most realistic reacreation of the the 767-400 sound enviroment. Hundreds of recordings have been made from real operation 767-400 and implemented into X-Plane 12 wiith the powerful FMOD sound engine.
Features(A brief overview):
-Unique, individual recordings of overy Korry pushbutton/pushbutton guard, switch, rotary knob. Everything you manipulate in the cockpit will have its own unique sound
-Mechanical/moving objects: cockpit door, cabin door, cargo door, armrest, speedbrake lever stow/arm/extend including motor operation on touchdown, throttle reverser/stow/idle/max/ audible brushing when in motion, all flap lever positions are unique
-Avionics/ Packs: multiple recordings from many perspectives mean that the sound environment is constantly evolving as you move through it(8 recording locations in the cockpit alone) with packs one and off from startup to shutdown, battery including gyro spool up, contactor sounds when changing power sources, exterior air inlet
-Hydraulics: recorded electrical pumps from startup to shutdown that audibly change under load, ADP pump works on bleed air and only under the correct circumstances; flap motor for extension/retraction
-APU: interior and exterior recordings from startup to shutdown
-Fuel: audible fuel pumps in cabin
-CF6 Engines: a true to life fully dynamic recreation of the GE CF6 engine both inside and out, all power settings carefully compared to real world recrodings, resultant sounds and overtones taken into account
-Ground roll: recreation of ground roll during taxi and rollout from multiple perspectives (note: currently not fully functional in X-Plane 12 replay mode)
-Air flow and drag: air flow sound changes depending on location and stage of flight, speed brake drag, gear drag extension/retration.
