HNLMS Karel Doorman (R81) was a Colossus-class aircraft carrier of the Royal Netherlands Navy. Formerly the British ship HMS Venerable, she was sold to the Netherlands in 1948 as a light attack carrier. In 1960, she was involved in the decolonization conflict in Western New Guinea with Indonesia. In the mid 1960s the role was changed to anti-submarine warfare carrier and only ASW aircraft and helicopters were carried. An engine room fire took her out of service in 1968. She was sold to Argentina in 1969 and renamed ARA Veinticinco de Mayo.

The model is modeled and animated in GMAX, the aircraft carriers are aimed to PREPARD3D v3 and above but it includes a compiled mdl for FSX, this model has some differences compared to the P3D v3 model that will be explained later.

 Joystick or yoke with pedals

 This model works correctly in Prepar3D v3/v4. Tested in P3D v.3.5

FSX version tested: -working front elevator and hangar deck -textures are nice -narrow deck, landing is quite a challenge -frame rates are very good -fair pricing -not availlable anywhere else (free- or payware, at the time of writing) Get the Sea Fury from Flying Stations as a perfect match (maybe still available for free). I recommend the Karel Doormann!
