Lovely terminal area is a very nice upgrade over the other offering available for KBNA. However, there is a glaring typo in the terminal interior that any Nashville native will spot immediate: the name of the restaurant is Acme Feed * Seed (NOT "Speed"). The ground textures around the central apron need work, as do the connector roads into and out of the main terminal. As noted by others, it would be nice if the terrain around the taxiways leading to/from Runway 02R/20L were properly sculpted to show the overpasses. If those issues are corrected or at least worked on and improved, I'd bump my review up to 5 stars. ALSO: this airport desperately needs a talented person to build a proper GSX profile. As it is, thinks are rather wonky in that regard. It would have been nice of the developer had followed common modern practice and included a profile somewhere in the installation.
Bought it since release, there were some bugs with the terrain however the v1.1 update came out quickly and resolved that. The terminal model is beautifully modeled. The area around the airport's periphery is well modeled. The ground marking is very nice and the performance is excellent. I realized that in this KBNA version, DDT has made the taxiwaysign manually according to IRL. Now we have the best KBNA to date. DDT has a very long road. I contacted them and was told they will continue to update as KBNA expands IRL . I like their approach to KBNA. Enjoy it
The GA areas and FBOs are really bad, still a bunch of terrain issues after the update. The terminal is maybe only the good area. There's missing parking lots and missing terrain drop off features.
I have tried all of the versions of KBNA in MSFS. This is the best of the group. FeelThere did a better job with the runway crossing over Murfreesboro Pike but overall, this is the best. I build scenery and I know that BNA is a terraforming challenge for creators. There are many topographical differences at BNA that makes this a difficult airport to get right. I would prefer to see better ground textures but I am being picky because it is my home airport. It is still worth the purchase for those wanting BNA in their MSFS library.
Great scenery. Best rendition of BNA for any sim. I just wish they modeled the terrain by RWY 2R and taxiway H. It's quite a fall off in real life if you went off that taxiway. You'd be on a busy highway Its flat in the sim.
The developer was quick in addressing and updating the previously mentioned elevation issues. I'm happy to state that this is now a 5* scenery IMO, and one of my favorites to date by DominicDesignTeam.
I am baffled. Is BNA an albatross for airplane makers? DD made a gem with CHS. This is NOT ready for release. Way too many bumps everywhere. 2L not bad but the departure on of 20C good grief. And taxiway T4 near the ramp exit there is like a quarry or something in the scenery and the taxiway almost fades into it. Better not be looking down at your charts or you'll end up down there with fred flintstone.
Good looking terminal exterior and definitely the best BNA to date but let's be honest that's a low bar. Even the worst one by pachilabs had the smoothness figured out.
Good start but needs a ton of work.
This is my 7th DominicDesignTeam scenery, and the 1st in which I've encountered elevation issues/bumps. I landed on RWY 2C which has a lot of small bumps down the runway, but not significant enough to make you crash. Taxiway T4 between Lima and Zulu is extraordinarily bumpy and uneven to the point in which I will avoid it until it is fixed.
Aside from a few elevation issues, it's an amazing looking scenery which is my usual experience with DD. I always look forward to and appreciate their terminal interior details which still allow for good performance. The airport and ground textures are also beautiful. Once the elevation issues are fixed, I would rate this scenery a 5.
As a BNA native, it looks great theres some random ground vehicles that are placed in the middle of parking spots and there was a all white pushback tug just by C16 and a couple of the D gates are not attached to the building... But besides that few random things its a way better rendition of BNA then the competitors.
