Charleston International Airport (IATA: CHS, ICAO: KCHS, FAA LID: CHS) is a military civilian joint airport located in North Charleston, South Carolina, United States. The airport is operated by the Charleston County Aviation Authority under a joint use agreement with Charleston Joint Base. It is the busiest airport in South Carolina. In 2022, the airport received over 5.3 million passengers in its busiest year on record. The airport is located in North Charleston, approximately 12 miles (19 kilometers) northwest of downtown Charleston. This airport is a hub city for Breeze Airlines. It is also the location of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner factory.
