I have to say, I was disappointed. Frame rates are two low and modeling just isn't up to the LatinVFR or TaxiToGate standards, much less some of the other big brand names. Wish I had waited for the other publisher's LIRF to come out! Skip this one.
I bought this airport a few days ago and have tested it. Purchase was done after reading opposing opinions about it concerning i.e. low framerates. Some reviewers prized it and some disliked it, I guess more simmers critized it than the opposite, but I decided to give it a chance. Here are my impression: The framerate is too low and you can really feel that it is really developed for FS 2004. I have uninstalled it and will wait for Aerosofts version of the same airport to be published.
Excellent scenery. I love it! Bought today, installed, and I must say: yes, it's worth the money I've spent! Thank you DFS! Keep the way of excellent scenarios!
I bought this scenery thinking to use it often. But unfortunately I bumped into problems regarding runway lights, approach lights and vasi. I sent an email to dreamfactory studio explaining that issue. The first answer was that nobody had had that problem( that is not true). when I sent a second email about two weeks ago, complaining about his answer and that I had paid for a functioning scenery. He said He would have found a solution.
At present, no solution has arrived yet and I 've uninstalled his scenery and installed a free one, really much more better. I am very disappointed.

I have a problem. The runway is not illuminated at night by the headlights.
And the plane jumps when taxiing on the runway or when the plane moves with her for taxiing.
p.s. I posted here because my letter did not reach the developer.

This scenery is incredible! Up in the big leagues of top selling scenery creators. Very frame rate friendly, we detailed scenery objects, well done! I tip my Captain's hat to you and look forward to more great sceneries from this company.
Again, its an amazing airport scenery after all the improvements (update) by DreamFactoryStudio! Looking forward for more excellent products from DFS, and thanks for making LIRF for FSX finally!
Cheers,

It is imperative to give a follow up to my first review of the product.
Following an immediate patch (identical dimensions of the first file), the face of the airport is changed as from night to day.
The framerate is back to acceptable levels, and the lighting is in normal parameters.
Some little jump at the entrance of the runaways (25, and the intersection of taxiway A with 7 in the direction of the 16R) that I have experienced up until now.
The quality has improved during both takeoff landing day and night.
The scenery remains heavy (despite a computer exclusively for FSX, are noticed problems loading textures), probably missing some light of the taxiway, and two lines of manual perhaps with an additional patch to follow in the future to solve these problems.
I must say its true , Rome is a really a very good and nice airport scenery which made my day.
First I was waiting for the other reviews, and when they came I decided also to give it a chance, and I am very happy with it, waited a long time for Rome.
Night lighting is also fantastic.
I never understood why Aerosoft did stop this project, because this airport is top and of high standards, much better than a lot of others airports, and which cost sometime much more.
Buy it !!
