EPSY Olsztyn-Mazury MSFS is a highly detailed scenery of EPSY Olsztyn-Mazury airport in Poland. This product is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator.

EPSY Olsztyn-Mazury is an international passenger airport in the North-East of Poland. It is located near the village Szymany, some 10 km from the center of the city of Szczytno in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. The airport was earlier known as Szczytno-Szymany Airport.

EPSY Olsztyn-Mazury Airport is popular among general aviation pilots as a gateway to the Masurian Lake District. The region contains more than 2,000 lakes. The Lakeland extends roughly 290 km (180 mi) eastwards from the lower Vistula to the Poland–Russia border, and occupies an area of roughly 52,000 square kilometers (20,000 sq mi). The lakes are well connected by rivers and canals, forming an extensive system of waterways. The 18th-century Masurian Canal links this system to the Baltic Sea. The whole area is a prime tourist destination, frequented by boating enthusiasts, canoeists, anglers, hikers, bikers, and nature-lovers. It is one of the most famous lake districts in Central Europe and a popular vacation spot, with the highest number of visitors every year. Śniardwy is the largest lake being 22.1 km (13.7 mi) long and 13.4 km (8.3 mi) wide.

The airfield in Szymany originates from 1933. Back then it was located in Germany, just kilometers away from the Polish border. Being hidden, within the woods, the airfield should be used as a temporary facility during the war. So it did 1939 during the invasion of Poland. In 1945, the small airfield was in the hands of the Soviet army. As they were not interested in the facility, they left it in autumn 1945. Now located in Poland, the Polish army acquired it. In the 1950s and 1960s it was expanded and assigned as the backup airport. It was developed on a low stage for many years, in the second half of the 1970s it received a control tower and further buildings. In the 1990s, when the cold war had ended, the airfield in Szymany lost its importance and was finally left. The remains of the old runway are still visible on the East side of the airport.

Later on, the Szymany Airport received international attention after it was discovered the airfield was used by the CIA in conjunction with a black site prison nearby in 2003.

From 2014 to 2015, the airport was rebuilt with high EU subsidies. Its runway was extended and overhauled; a new terminal, railway link, and further facilities were erected. On 20 January 2016, the first-ever scheduled passenger flight took off from the airport with a SprintAir service to Berlin. Currently, it is used by low-cost carriers and general aviation pilots.

SOUTH OAK CO - FS BIRDS - NORTHEAST USA MSFS

Another honest review from me.. So after downloading I was really excited about this add-on. We need more of these kind of add-ons that bring the sim alive. The birds look amazing and really do bring it alive when flying. Im more of an airline pilot myself however I still saw birds on one of my departures. I think "once again honest" the birds on the ground at airports is a little excessive. I fly a lot in real world and usually bird activity on taxi-ways is none existent. Honestly I would rather see birds on the grass if anything but not on taxi-ways or even close to runways as sounds and wake from the engines would have the birds flying away quick. I still think the add-on needs a 5 star review even after my suggestion. Im really happy with this add-on im hoping that there are more areas added for bird coverage as I said it makes the sim come alive. Very much needed add-on if you are the realistic pilot looking for realistic conditions. Very Happy! Good Job!

Easily one of my most favorite GA aircraft in the sim thus far, updates are very quick to come out when problems arise. Upon release it had a few issues but as of 10/21 all those have been fixed and it's a phenomenal aircraft.

RKBRIDGER - PITTSBURGH BRIDGES MSFS
Al
Born and raised in Pittsburgh (the Burgh) I am not totally happy. What bridges that were done, are very good. However, they are ONLY river bridges and ONLY in the immediate city area. There are 9 on the Mon (Monongahela) but stop at the railroad bridge before the Homestead Grays bridge. Up the Allegheny from the point there are 10 bridges but they stop at the 40th St (Washington Crossing) bridge excluding the Rt 8 / 62 St (Sen Fleming) bridge and north. Down the Ohio was my biggest disappointment for the river bridges. Included from the point are the West End, Brunot Island railroad bridges and the McKees Rocks bridge. Neville Island and south, forget it. Off river bridges are not included. That includes the Jacks Run (Rt 65) bridge that parallels the Ohio River a half mile south of the McKees Rocks bridge. Panther Hollow (Oakland District) has two major bridges near Univ of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Library & Museum, Carnegie Mellon Univ., Phipps Conservatory, and Schenley Park, known to almost everyone from the Burgh, Schenley Drive (near the old Forbes Field) and Panther Hollow Rd in Schenley Park. Neither are included. Additional work needs to be done on cleaning up flying cars higher than the bridge surface and cars crossing the rivers at water level under the presented bridges. Having done scenery myself, I understand that this is not easy, but can and should be done. Person-
ally this product should be renamed 'City of Pittsburgh RIVER Bridges' as there are far too many exclusions for the current title. I have mentioned only a few.
