    • Description

    LUKK Chisinau X, the first Moldova's commercial airport scenery, features a highly detailed representation of LUKK Chisinau International Airport. This product is compatible with FSX and Prepar3D.
     
    Chisinau, also known as Kishinev, is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Moldova. It is Moldova's main industrial and commercial center and is located in the middle of the country, on the river Bic. Chisinau is home to half a million residents. During IIWW Chisinau was almost completely destroyed and gradually reconstructed later. The city lies on seven hills and occupies the territory of around 120 sq. km. In Chisinau there are 23 lakes which are mostly situated in the parks. The capital of Moldova is considered to be one of the greenest cities in Europe.
     
    Chisinau International Airport (IATA: KIV, ICAO: LUKK) is Moldova's main international airport, located 13 km (8.1 mi) southeast of the centre of Chisinau. The first scheduled flights to Chisinau started in 1926. In 2000 the airport was modernized and an annex terminal building was added to the renovated old terminal. There are ten check-in desks and five gates at the airport. VIP and CIP guests are offered special services at the VIP terminal. Chisinau airport features one 3580m concrete, ILS-equipped runway, able to accomodate airliners of any type, including B747. Nowadays 19 airlines operate flights to 33 destinations and the most popular destination is Moscow.

    Drzewiecki Design makes some of the very best scenery add ons you can find. I have almost all of them and this is the first time I was a little disappointed. Everything does indeed look very good and is easy on frame rates but the city is just lacking a little bit. Too many of the same textures are used for buildings. I’m not sure if it’s DDs doing or if that’s just what the architecture is really like? At any rate it is a nice addition to my collection that brings more route options for this part of the world connecting to all of my other DD sceneries in Europe.  I should note that the airport is spot on (for the year it was representing at time of development) and as always well done.  I’m probably a little spoilt by Warsaw, Moscow, Tallin,Azerbaijan and Krako which all have incredible detail of architecture and more unique auto-gen. Based on use with FSX SE Win 10 3.3 ghz i7 16GBRam Intel UHD630 integrated GPU

    Absolutely great scenery, great FPS. Very nice night textures and still great frames. Looks very realistic. Certainly recommend!

    Ich kann mich meinen Vorrednern nur anschließen. Ich war vor knapp zwei Jahren in Chisinau und das, was ich jetzt im Simulator sehe, ist auch genau das, was ich damals vor Ort gesehen habe. Chisinau an sich ist wenig spektakulär, der Flughafen oder der Anflug ist es auch nicht. Trotz allem kann ich jedem den Kauf nur empfehlen. LUKK bietet sich hervorragend als Stop-over in Richtung Osten an, und wurde handwerklich wirklich top umgesetzt. Durch die statischen Flugzeuge und die animierten Bodenfahrzeuge wirkt der Flughafen auch ohne AI-Traffic sehr lebendig. Die Performance ist 1A, ich konnte keinerlei Performanceeinbrüche feststellen. Hier braucht man auch keine Sorge bzgl. de "internal modeling" haben, da das Terminal in Chisinau wirklich winzig ist. Hervorzuheben ist auch, dass man bei Drzewiecki sich darauf verlassen kann, dass der Flughafen einige Zeit aktualisiert wird. Gerade erst habe ich aktuelle Updates für Warschau, Tallinn und Moskau bekommen. Selbstverständlich ist das nicht.

    Moldawien war damals schon die ärmste Republik innerhalb der Sowjetunion. Der Flughafen ist zwar riesig, aber nicht besonders sorgfältig erbaut worden, und hatte einen militärischen Teil. Für heute ist er total überdimensioniert. Auf den riesigen Abstellflächen stehen ganze Flotten von alten sowjetischen Flugzeugen... Iljuschin Il 18, Il 62, Tupolew Tu 134, Antonow An 24/26/32 aber auch An 72, Yak 40... die wohl alle nie wieder fliegen werden. Das dies in der Szenerie angedeutet wurde, finde ich sehr gut. Bei all den alten Maschinen, die man als Kind alle noch als Passagier kennengelernt hat, macht sich eine leise Melancholie breit. Viele Bauten sind "typisch Sowjetunion", und auch das neue Terminal aus dem Jahre 2009 ist nicht beeindruckende Architektur. Aber die Szenerie ist in ihrer Geschlossenheit der Darstellung, ihrer Plausibilität und dem speziellen Flair östlicher Flughäfen gut getroffen.

    I can't describe my feelings about the quality of this high end scenery. It looks amazing. High resolution and realistic textures, at night, illuminated apron is such a beautiful. High resolution trees. And of course, with it i get decent FPS even in bad weather. I am very satisfied. I waited for many years a scenery like this for Chisinau airport, and finally it is here. Thank you very much guys!

    In my opinion this scenery is perfectly-designed. Many static planes and objects, animated apron traffic, animated hangar door and nice surrounding area including Chisinau city make LUKK as real as possible. If we take into consideration the sharp textures of buildings, "dirty" taxiways and very nice night lightning, I'm really impressed by great fps and smoothnes, which is even better than in my favourite Drzewiecki Design's scenery - EETN Tallinn. Even approach and runway lights are being activated in bad weather conditions, so I can recommend this scenery without any doubts.

    habe mir heute morgen LUKK zugelegt und sofort einen approach gemacht mit der PMDG 777 von Athen aus. muss sagen, der Anflug war ein sehr sehr schöner ! ORBX passt sich sehr gut und weich in die Gegend an. Die Runways sind optisch ein Hammer, diese typisch "alt"-russischen Beton-platten und sogar die verwaschene Markierung der alten Runway ist super realisiert. Die Performance ist 1A (Intel 7 4790K @ 4,5 GHZ, Geforce GTS 960 2G) War einfach neugierig auf Chisinau obwohl selber noch nicht vor Ort gewesen, normal kaufe ich mir immer Add-ons von Orten an denen ich schon real war, hier ist das andersrum. Freue mich bald auf LUKK im realen Leben und mache bis dahin bestimmt noch einige Anflüge in P3Dv3.1
