The choice is yours!
Washington, D.C. was founded in 1791 to serve as the new national capital. In 1791, President Washington commissioned Pierre (Peter) Charles L'Enfant, a French-born architect and city planner, to design the new capital. He based his design on plans of cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Karlsruhe, and Milan that Thomas Jefferson had sent to him. L'Enfant's design also envisioned a garden-lined "grand avenue" approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) in length and 400 feet (120 m) wide in the area that is now the National Mall. On August 24–25, 1814, in a raid known as the Burning of Washington, British forces invaded the capital during the War of 1812. The Capitol, Treasury, and White House were burned and gutted during the attack. Most government buildings were repaired quickly; however, the Capitol was largely under construction at the time and was not completed in its current form until 1868. Washington had an estimated population of 681,170 as of July 2016. Commuters from the surrounding Maryland and Virginia suburbs raise the city's population to more than one million during the workweek. The Washington metropolitan area, of which the District is a part, has a population of over 6 million, the sixth-largest metropolitan statistical area in the country.
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (IATA: DCA, ICAO: KDCA, FAA LID: DCA) is an international airport 3 miles (5 km) south of downtown Washington, D.C. in Arlington County, Virginia, United States. The airport opened June 16, 1941, just before US involvement into World War II. It is the nearest commercial airport to the capital and serves the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area. In 2013, Reagan National Airport handled 20,415,085 passengers, which was a new record. From April 2014 to March 2015, the airport handled 21,195,775 passengers, which is slightly higher than the aforementioned record. American Airlines, following its merger with US Airways, has the largest share of traffic at the airport, accounting for 50.4% of the market share as of 2015.
College Park Airport (IATA: CGS, ICAO: KCGS, FAA LID: CGS) is a public airport located in the City of College Park, in Prince George's County, Maryland. It is the world's oldest continuously operated airport. College Park Airport was established in August 1909 by the United States Army Signal Corps to serve as a training location for Wilbur Wright to instruct two military officers to fly in the government's first airplane.
Joint Base Andrews (ICAO: KADW) is a United States military facility located in Prince George's County, Maryland. The base is widely known for serving as the home base of two Boeing VC-25 aircraft which have the call sign Air Force One while the President of the United States is on board.
Potomac Airfield (ICAO: KVKX, FAA LID: VKX) is a privately owned, public-use airport located in the community of Fort Washington (formerly known as Friendly), in Prince George's County, Maryland. It is a general aviation airport, and there is no scheduled airline service available.
Washington Executive Airport (FAA LID: W32), also known as Washington Executive Airpark or Hyde Field, is a public use general aviation airport located 2 miles (3.2 km) southwest of the central business district (CBD) of Clinton, in Prince George's County, Maryland, USA. It is located just 1.10 nautical miles (1.27 mi) east of a slightly smaller airport called Potomac Airfield.

What can I say that others haven’t already? I echo all the positives about this scenery. It is a full area with so many unique autogen objects and buildings. If you go to the White House and get really close to the Oval Office you can see what appears to be a serious discussion about the pros and cons of soft vs hard shell tacos between Trump and Pence while Milania stares blankly at a wall.
All of the cities historic sites can be visited.
The city looks so good at night as well.
All of the airports are finely detailed. Even the little ones are well done. No frame loss.
Another DD masterpiece.
I got this for Andrews and DCA but, either way, 5 airports for this price is a steal. You get the Potomac three with this so you can do some VFR D.C. flying. The Capitol and White House are in there somewhere too, I see them flying a west departure off of 1L and 1R at Andrews. This scenery is great. If you fly GA a lot too, I recommend it.
Definitely the best Washington scenery. Tons of details, nicely modeled buildings (especially around the national mall), the overall feeling is great. KDCA is nicely done, other airports are rather simple but that is just as advertised. I am fully satisfied with this package and use it a lot. River visual with guiding lights - priceless!
honestly this time it has me a little disappointed. Overall, the product is valid and rich (airports, cities and surrounding areas in general). The airport's textures (KDCA) are ugly, at least when compared to other Drzewiecki Design products that I consider an excellence. The grass is also bad (even after installing their add-on for the grass that for example at UUEE is beautiful). The photos are not very explanatory, have been made with special lights and weather ... I hope to use it always on rainy or fog days to fully enjoy this product. The installation is very simple but it lacks the way to uninstall it (trying the various options it offers I did not know how to uninstall it) I suggest adding a configurator-file.
The airport itself looks very beautiful in this scenery, but what really turned me off and actually made me and uninstall it was the awful grass textures that surround the airport runways! Its not up to the hd Standards we get from FlightBeam, Fly Tampa, FSDT, or even Aerosoft Mega Airports and UK2000. I gave it 3 stars because it captures the area around the airport very accurately. I seriously wish the designer would consider an upgrade of the scenery to correct the awful grass textures used around the airport. It really kills the beauty of the scenery!
Superbly done, amazing piece of art. I was worried about performance but on my old rig (5 year old) I get great performance flying the NGX at DCA doing the river visual 19, the immersion factor is overwhelming.
awesome job Drzewiecki Design!
After last update to P3D v4 I must to say - it's a really nice job! Very high quality with good attention to details and performance - it works very smooth with little tweak of my settings. Especially I love flying there at dusk or even at night, because the lighting is on a great level. The custom-made buildings, landmarks, bridges, stadiums, heliports and KDCA with animated jetways - I'm fully satisfied :)
Excellent product, very detailed Airport and also the City. I got from this guys NY V2, Moscow City and Moscow Airport and now Washington. FPS are excellent, VAS is pretty good, a very nice airpoirt to fly to. Nice job guys!!!!
I was contacted personally by SATINSLAW DRZEWIECKI yesterday, 3/12/2017. Mr. Drzewiecki couldn't have been more helpful and professional. He completely and quickly resolved fully the issue I had with Washington X KDCA not showing the jet ways.
The city scenery is FANTASTIC, the airport itself is full of airplanes at the gates which gives a sense of realism.
Given the great quality and attention to detail backed with GREAT service I will be buying more of SATINSLAW DRZEWIECKI designs.
This is flight simulation AT ITS BEST!!!
I fly in and out of DCA quite a bit and always love the visual river approach. Great job. If you fix the AFCAD to real world parking codes, you get five stars!
