The pre-flight workflow, all in one app

Bob Dispatcher is a desktop content manager for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. It keeps your add-on library organized, helps you get off the ground faster, and replaces the time you used to spend manually toggling packages before every flight.

What Bob does

View every add-on Bob has scanned across your library folders in one place. Filter by type, region, country, or developer, search by name, and switch between grid and list view. You can also drag a .zip, .rar, .7z, or loose folder onto the page, and Bob will extract, classify, and install it after your confirmation.
Import a SimBrief OFP or enter your route manually. Bob identifies the airports, scenery, and aircraft your flight needs, then enables exactly what is required. If you choose, it can also disable everything else.
Set the order of the apps you normally open before a flight, such as chart tools, virtual airline software, voice apps, and weather utilities. Then launch them all with a single click.
Create a directional map of how your add-ons depend on each other. When you enable a parent item, Bob can automatically enable every related child item as well.
See every airport you own plotted on a globe. Select a marker to enable or disable that airport instantly.
Check the coverage of your owned airports against every GSX profile installed on your system. Each airport also includes a full-page diagram view for parking positions, pushback routes, and gates.
Access a clean read-and-write view of the MSFS master package manifest. Bob uses a backup-first approach, so you can make changes with confidence and restore things if needed.
Clear shader caches for NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Windows D3D, and the MSFS rolling cache when stutters appear after a simulator or driver update. Each task has its own button, with no command line required

Good start of a product. The main issue I have right now is that any time I restart/ shut down my computer the dispatcher needs my reference ID number each time before opening the application. Additionally, I have noticed that if you download a new scenery/ aircraft into your linked addon folder, the dispatcher does not always find it right away. Sometimes it takes the dispatcher 2-3 more resets before it can locate it :(

Be aware of some major limitations when using BOB. First, the goal of BOB is excellent. Simplifying the management of AddOns and ensuring that only the ones needed for a specific flight are enabled is a great feature. I also appreciate the SimBrief integration and the GSX overview, which makes it easy to see whether a GSX profile is available for the scenery or airport you're using. However, there are some significant limitations to be aware of. Currently, BOB appears to support only up to 500 AddOns. If you have more than that, you should avoid using BOB for now. In addition, there are many AddOns that BOB does not recognize. For example, it does not recognize the FSLTL Base Models or Injector, meaning these must be placed directly in your Community folder instead. Unfortunately, there is no way within the application to see which AddOns are recognized and which are not, so you'll need to determine this yourself. This can become quite challenging if you have a large AddOn library. As a result, BOB works somewhat differently from MSFS Addon Linker. With MSFS Addon Linker, you must create and maintain the folder structure yourself, as well as move new AddOns and updates into the appropriate folders. You also need to manually enable the AddOns required for each flight. However, MSFS Addon Linker recognizes all of your AddOns without these limitations, making it the safer option if you want to ensure that your entire AddOn collection is properly managed. If and when BOB addresses these issues, it could become a very compelling alternative to other tools. At the moment, however, it is not.

Das Programm vereint mehrere andere Tools die man z.B bei Flightsim.to herunterladen kann. 1. Der Launch Flow: Darin kann man festlegen, welche Tools bzw. Addons mit gestartet werden. Also anstatt z.B SayIntentions.AI oder Navigraph Charts separat zum FS2024 zu starten, werden diese Automatisch gestartet. Man spart sich die extra Klickerei. Was ich auch gut finde, sind die GSX Profiles: Da gibt es auch extra ein Tool bei Flightsim.to. - Das wird auch nicht mehr benötigt, da es schon in diesem Programm integriert ist. Und unter MyContent kann man seine ganzen Addons, Skins etc. Aktivieren oder Deaktivieren. Zu guter Letzt noch das Optimizer Tool: Mit einem Klick wird ein Clean bei Nvidia Direct X Cache, Nvidia Compute Cache, AMS DirectX Cache, DirectX Shader Cache und das MSFS 2024 WASM Cache gemacht. Dafür hatte ich auch ein extra Tool. Das fällt jetzt auch weg. Obwohl ich erst Bedenken zu diesem Programm hatte, bin ich damit sehr zufrieden.
