This plugin simply connects Flight Simulator 2020 to your tablet / mobile version of SkyDemon, ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot and Fltplan Go so that you can use your favorite EFB software while flying the simulator.

Experiencing from the confort of your home an EFB application is the best way to practice all the software possibilities, and stay proficient when you get in the air for real.

Compared to other tools, this connector does only one thing, and just works :-) It's designed to be extremely lightweight, it's using the latest features available from Flight Simulator 2020 only, and it will not influence your frame rate or your simulator performances.

It used to work great, but now this is broken for MSFS2020 as of Oct 2025. Only the initial position is sent to SkyDemon, no updates.

Since last update of MSFS 2024 SkyDemon on IPad shows only the initial position on the departure airfield. Then there is no update during the flight. X-Plane works still fine without Msfs Bridge.

This is still working for me as of June 2025 (so MSFS 2024 SU2). I did have to re-download it (maybe I had an older version), so re-downloaded to ensure using the latest version of MSFS BRIDGE today, I used this with my Android Tablet with Skydemon and did an hour VFR flight in SE England (EGKR to QE2 Bridge and back). I found the IP address of my Tablet which is on the same Wifi as my PC, I put the IP address of my tablet on the ip_config_sample.txt file (not sure if that is needed). and it just worked when I started my freeflight. The tray icon of MSFS Bridge will say version 1.0.3 and will still just say "connected to FS2020 and broadcasting to all network" even though I'm playing MSFS 2024. It did feel a little laggy, maybe it's my tablet, or the game itself. It worked a bit better on MSFS 2020. I tested this and the XMapsy essential Demoversion (which only works near Dresden airport) and both were a bit laggy (i.e. sometimes the plane being track don't update, or take a few more seconds before it updates). I think it's probably the MSFS 2024 game running rubbish rather than the software. I'm just happy this this mostly work for MSFS 2024, so still worth buying. But I wish they update it and the dev re-test it to ensure 100% compatibility with the new game. At the moment, it's just luck that kept this working.

Just run the application without installation. Works very well with MSFS 2020 and also MSFS 2024!!! Skydemon on Android device.

How refreshing to have something that just works. No hassle, no messing about, it just works. Great if you are using skydemon in the real world and want to practice, especially QXC or when hour building to airfields you've not flown to before.

Installation lief wie gewohnt von Simmarket vonstatten. Das Tool funktioniert auch an sich, nur verliert er andauernd die Verbindung zum iPad, sodass ich Skydemon nicht im MSFS nutzen kann. Die aufgebaute Verbindung hält nur 3 Sek. und ist dann wieder weg. Auch nach anpassen der Firewall, der Einstellungen im gesamten Netzwerk auf Routerebene und dem abschalten des Anti-Virus hat nichts gebracht. von daher nur leider 3 Sterne.

Works perfectly with skydemon for me. For software in the flight sim world, this is refreshingly simple and easy to use with no bloat. Highly recommend to anyone who uses skydemon in the realworld and wishes to practice with it in the sim.

This is a nice Utility program simple to set up and it just works as long as port 49002 is open through your fire wall setup is a breeze I give it 4 stars as it only connects to MSFS but for the price it is a good value

A nice little utility that sadly is lacking ATTITUDE data being sent to Foreflight. The seller has stated that 'probably' this important item (pitch and roll data needed by Foreflight's Synthetic Vision) will be added to a 'future update', but no timeline on that and no definitive promise that it would be forthcoming. If only this one item were to be added, I would upgrade my review to 5 stars!
