Mit seiner nahen Lage zu Zürich und dem Aargau ist der Flugplatz Birrfeld einer der wichtigsten Akteure der "General Aviation" in der Schweiz. Eingelagert zwischen der A1 und der A3 findet man den Flugplatz Birrfeld mit dem ICAO Kürzel LSZF, direkt westlich der Stadt Baden und südlich von Brugg.

Bei der Erstellung der Szenerien hat sich der Designer Jeffrey Stähli nicht nur auf den Flugplatz selber konzentriert, sondern auch das umliegende Gebiet modelliert. Die Flugplatz-Realitätsnähe ist dank der grossen Ausstattung an 3D Objekten, den vielen Kleinflugzeugen oder dem animierten Autoverkehr beim Anflug auf die 08 oder die 26 optimal gelungen.
