Average but good/nice enough. The BIG issue I have is the awful installation process... it installed some additional directory files in my PC for no reason whatsoever, and I ended up with ProgramFiles, ProgramFiles(x64), Users and Temp as folders inside my msfs community folder caused by this. Clean up the install.
I have been waiting a long time for this airport to be done and had the city already. I think the textures look very good with great color & clarity. Hard to get custom jetways that work like asobos but I'm alright with that until it reasonable to expect them. All in all I would recommend the airport but I have no opinion on the veracity of taxiway or signage accuracy as I wouldn't know & don't fly Vatsim or such. Just looks awesome and how I remember it from X-plane so I think for myself 5*'s easy.
I had my doubts, but this is a very realistic scenery, HD imagery, accurate positions, buildings looks like the real ones, rotating radar, animated train, custom vehicles, custom jetways, even the sink-bump effects in some taxiways and runways are there (real life MMMX is sitting over a lake and terrain is sinking, bumps formations are frequent), really nice night effects and a great great FPS for the complexity and finally the ILS for 05R/23L is working as it should be! for those of us who have flown into this airport in real life is a must, also I have the Mex City LandMarks from this dev, great work!.
Great work from this dev. I fully reviewed this airport on Twitch live stream today and gave it high marks. There are some minor issues with lack of GA and Cargo spawn points, jetways vanishing (SU5 bug probably), some Hangers are placed inside each other creating Z-Fighting and taxiway Echo is pretty bump, taxi very slow through there. Other than that the airport has extremely detailed modeling, HD texturing, animated train, nice night lighting and best of all even with all the autogen in the area and running this devs Mexico City Landmark pack my FPS stayed locked at 60 FPS where I keep it locked for smoothness purposes. It probably runs even faster.
I run a i7 9900k @ 5ghz with a 3080 GPU and 32 gigs of RAM so remember this when you read my 60 FPS claim. Your FPS may differ based on hardware.
I ended up buying all of FlyMex's current products of MSFS. Their other stuff is very nice too. Look forward to more Mexico airports from this dev.
If this minor issues listed above this airport is a 5 Star rated airport for me.
First of all, i decided to give it a try because i love flying into MMMX. However, after loading it and moving around the airport in drone mode i started seeing all the huge errors all around. Nowadays its difficult to find a good quality addon for an airport in general, and this is no exemption. Building dimensions are incredibly wrong, shapes appear to be from an fs9 addon, textures are low quality, do these guys even care about finding photo-reference for their addons? No custom jetways? Do i even have to mention ground clutter is mostly default?
Sorry, but this addon failed to my expectations and I regret wasting my money in it.
