Welcome to Flysimware’s C414AW Chancellor for Microsoft Flight simulator. Flysimware has modeled this vintage aircraft using every feature the new sim offers giving you the user the best experience for a realistic simulation. From a interactive copilot, highly accurate gauges to realistic flight dynamics.
Flysimware’s tech pilot owns this Cessna 414AW Chancellor with a RAM IV conversion and winglets which allowed Flysimware to have direct access to the real bird. In return this gives you a highly accurate model with extreme attention to detail as Flysimware took hundreds of images, measurements and recorded sounds over a 2 year period.
The Cessna 414 is an American light, pressurized, twin-engine transport aircraft built by Cessna. It first flew in 1968 and an improved variant was introduced from 1978 as the 414A Chancellor.
The pressurized 414 was developed to appeal to owners of unpressurized, twin-engined aircraft, and was based on the fuselage of the Cessna 421 and used the wing design of the Cessna 401. The 414 is a low-wing cantilever monoplane with a conventional tail unit and a retractable tricycle landing gear. It is powered by two wing-mounted 310 hp Continental TSIO-520-J horizontally opposed, six-cylinder engines. The Chancellor has a maximum speed of 270 mph, a climb rate of 1,700 feet per minute, and a ceiling of 30,000 feet with a range 1,528 miles.
The prototype first flew on 1 November 1968, and production aircraft were available in a number of optional seating arrangements and avionics packages. The name Chancellor was used for models marketed from 1976. An improved variant the Cessna 414A Chancellor was introduced in 1978 with the major change being a redesigned and increased-span wing with integral fuel tanks and an extended nose to give more baggage space.
got recommended this plane and i have to say its just what i was looking for the detail and sounds are top notch its a lovely plane to fly if u dont have it yet get it you wont regret it
Hi!
This one is my favorite aircraft. The flight model is probably the most realistic within the GA Twin-Engine section. My step-father owns a C404 and the Flysimware one is very close to her.
This plane in my opinion, is the best GA aircraft out of all the twin and even single engines for MSFS, it looks fantastic, it flies superbly and the sounds are great. It is an absolute joy to fly.
This is just brilliant. I would say its like Fenix A320 kinda quality, and you just have that feeling of a well spent money. Flight model feels just right (not real pilot here, but I think we all know when it feels realistic by instinct).
The only really minor issue (really minor) is that you can clearly notice some loop sounds here and there, like the fuel pump or the plane fuselage dilation pops when you turn off the engines (looped and overdone in my opinion.) But the engine sounds are fabulous.
Really well simulated aircraft. Feeling on the ground and in the air is excellent, sounds are amazing (especially engine sounds), and the tablet makes fuel and W&B changes more easy.
Good integration with PMS50 GTN750 and the only improvement that can be implemented is working CBs and maybe an oil level/refill function.
By far my favourite GA aircraft for MSFS to date. Loving the details and performance of this plane.
Sound is awesome and the different cockpit variants are cool too.
Got myself both GTN750s just because of this beautiful plane!
Bought it through their website, and used their products since FS2004. I would like to say that I’m very pleased. It feels very nice hand flying it, the turbochargers actually work, the sounds are deafening and immersive. Texture wise Flysimware stepped up and offered a pretty beautiful airframe and cabin. Adding the GTN750 third party addons makes this machine perfect for any mission. The systems are accurate, from fuel control to the pressurization system! I highly recommend it, and I’m glad to see Flysimware in MSFS!
I have had this model since it first came out (before it was available here), it was excellent then and has been developed well since then. It is also well worth getting the TDS GTNXi addon for upgrading this model. I highly recommend buying this model for FS2020, it is in my opinion the best twin engine model so far!
