AMSTERDAM V.2 P3D

Absolutely amazing!
I bought it after my vacation in Amsterdam and its amazingly realistic. From the McDonalds near RWY 27/09 to the small road used as a Spotting Point near RWY 18c. Everything looks just like in real life.
I've heard about a few issues with the performance/Vram, but I can say at least for me it's still within the limits. I only have 6GB of Vram and it still works good.

Fly Tampa always produce arguably the best airport addons for Flight sims. I was a bit reluctant at first about buying this product because of some reviews regarding hits with their VRAM when using Amsterdam airport. I have installed it in P3Dv4.5 and also in P3Dv5.3. I have a w10 pro os, an i7 cpu running at it's stock 3.8mhz. An Nvidia 1080Ti with 32 gbs of DDR4 ram, each of my P3D sims are running on their 2 respective ssd HD's. my settings on both sims are set to high and ultra settings. After 15 mins of flying a P3Dv4.5 stock Maul plane I didn't see any problems regarding VRAM. The same applies to my P3Dv5.3 with the Alabeo 66 helicopter addon. All in all this is another great product from Fly Tampa. if you have a similar or better specs computer as me then you shouldn't have any VRAM problems. It's well worth buying this product. I am very pleased with my purchase.

The scenery itself is a beauty as always but if you have only 8GB of VRAM, buy the old one. Its unflyable if you do not turn down your Sim Textures to 512 or 1024.... Sad

Many of those sim fanatics and myself included have the issue on VRAM in combination with ORBX TE NE.
On the Flytampa forum there are many topics showing issues of VRAM and no replies of FT on any of those threads.
If I would be you, don't buy the product and stay on the stable V1 if you run ORBX TE NE and other add-ons.
Only replies we are getting in regards to the VRAM issues are: Here is your refund if you like it.
Shame as V2 was a long waited product I, and a lot of others wanted to start using.
Hope the future we will be seeing improvement on this product.

However texture work resulting in pretty close properties towards the P3Dv5 max.limit of 7.1 GB VRAM, with PMDG aircraft!

Easy install, looks fantastic

If you are running P3Dv4.5 you will need to pick up a bel file from FlyTampa forum and overwrite it in the scenery folder to avoid an elevation issue, takes one minute to do and will save you scrabbling around for a fix

The performance gained so much. Actually probably the best available scenery for P3D. Perfect Job!

Another stunning piece of work by Flytamps. Superb texturing plus the surrounds of EHAm have improved significantly. An outstanding update!
