Details

The PHOTO Regional product range provides a high resolution photoreal and terrain mesh coverage for each French region and island. This photoreal texture coverage replaces the standard Microsoft Flight Simulator X® default scenery with a real lanscape. You can then add local sceneries onto this photoreal texture based for more realism.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

  • High resolution photoreal scenery covering a French region.
  • 0.85 to 1 meter resolution ground texture made from aerial photography (IGN) retreated for an optimal visual rendition in Flight Simulator X® (summer only).
  • High resolution real 19 meter (LOD11) optimized custom mesh incuded.
  • All lakes and rivers have been entirely cut out and faithfully represented, reworked with bodies of landable water.
  • Water transparency effects for the whole scenery coverage.
  • Optional Waterclass and original water texture provided.
  • Extremely precise geo-referenced texture positionning is carried out in order to ensure a maximal compatibility with scenery add-ons for this region.
  • Process development is fully conform to the Microsoft Flight Simulator X® SDK, ensuring a maximal compatibility with future versions of Flight Simulator.
  • Open scenery concept allows an easy integration of scenery add-ons from other editors.
     

Minimum configuration required:

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator X® - Pentium or Athlon 2Ghz - 1 GB Ram
  • Windows 2000, XP, Vista or Seven – NTFS partition with 3 GB to 15 GB of free disk space.
  • Please make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your graphic card. These can usually be obtained on the manufacturer’s web site.

Preis/Leistung finde ich in Ordnung. Sehr scharfe Texturen im Vergleich zu z.B. der Aerosoft VFR Germany Reihe. Was ich sehr schade finde ist das dieses Produkt keine Nachttexturen enthält (Naja, ist halt eben auch nur für VFR gedacht), das es nur Sommeraufnahmen sind stört mich hingegen nicht so. Die Gebietabdeckung ist recht groß und es gibt einiges über diesen Bereich Frankreichs zu entdecken, ideal für Helicopter-Touren :)

Best scenery of Paris I have have bought, its really great only negative side is no night lighting like most add on scenery's. But the scenery of Paris is more than fantastic !! Hopefully they will make more scenery's in the future which also have night lighting as well. My add on lighting system of Zinetec is of course not working in this new add one, and that is really very disappointing . If you like to fly in the night over Paris and like to have lighting you have to put this scenery of Paris out.
