ABOUT: As a current airline pilot and Flight Simulator indie developer, I have hand made a small selection of titles over the years, ranging from scenery texture enhancements to FSX missions.
My interest in aviation started at an early age. My first flight was at around age 9 as my family and I went away for our first holiday abroad. I was terrified. At first, my family thought that all was lost and that I was to become one of the many people who have a fear of flying, greatly restricting future holiday destinations! After a few hours, the cabin crew invited a group of us to go and visit the cockpit. After stepping into the cockpit of our 767, I was captivated. A switch had been flipped in my mind and all fear evaporated immediately. I had found my dream.

On my first day back at school my friend mentioned he had just got a copy of Flight Simulator 98. I had to try it. Although I had no idea what I was doing, I loved the game and my fascination with aviation grew stronger as the time went by. After saving enough pocket money, I went out and bought Flight Simulator 2000, which is where my real learning process began. I’ve been flying simulators ever since.

After finding the direction I wanted to take, the hard part was starting down the road to airline flying. Throughout my teenage years, I was a member of the Air Cadets. By studying hard and rising through the ranks I had gained some fantastic experiences from RAF bases and aerobatic flying. Eventually I would become a civilian instructor, passing down my knowledge to the next generations.

Once I had turned 19, I was old enough to join the CTC Wings course, based in the UK and New Zealand. The next few years had me crossing the globe on an intensive flying training course, resulting in a place at a major European airline, where I am currently a Senior First Officer, with the left hand seat in sight for early 2016.

I consider myself lucky because my simulation hobby ties in with my profession, allowing me to learn about software development while expanding my knowledge of the subjects I use at work. It also enables me to develop simulation add-ons that are realistic and accurate, while remaining aimed at the simulator pilot.

REALWORLDSCENERY - KDAY - JAMES M. COX - DAYTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT P3D4
Shanard Letang
Looks like the real thing. I haven't tried RWS before but I'm impressed with their work. HD textures and season changes is a huge plus!
JUSTSIM - HAMBURG AIRPORT - HELMUT SCHMIDT - EDDH FSX P3D
Peter Müller
I bought this scenery as I was really tired of the rehashed "professional" version by another company. It was my only airport where the frames dropped below acceptable levels when arriving or departing. So I went ahead and tried this one... although I have to admit, that I was abit of a sceptic at first, as I didn't knew JustSim. With their version of Hamburg however arriving there is like coming home. The performance is amazing, even with very complex aircraft. I use all the stuff by OrbX and even AI Ship traffic. Still I have smooth sailing all the way. So yeah - I totally recommend this product. Same goes for LCLK.
BANGKOK AIRPORT VOL1 SUVARNABHUMI INTERNATIONAL FSX

Update earlier review about the stutter issue when approaching RW19..support responded within reasonable timeframe and provided remedy and stutter issue is resolved by removing one photoscenery file of buildings. Airport and terrains still look great and less the irritating micro stutter issue.
PILOT'S FSG - PILOT'S - FS GLOBAL ULTIMATE - NEXT GENERATION FTX FSX P3D FSW
Marco Gabbrielli
an amazing change to the landscape, mostly hugely enjoyable by bush pilots, yet even by high flying guys too quite an impact to fps if you set the mesh resolution high as suggested, yet if installed it can't be removed, such is the difference appreciated, rather it's the CPU that should be upgraded
FLIGHTSCENE - TAHITI AND SOCIETY ISLANDS FSX P3D
Peter McLennan
This is a thing of great beauty. The mesh seems very detailed, and the textures (autogen and custom) are also fine. (Unfortunately, P3D v4 doesn't like loading the highest resolution until you've pretty much crashed into it, but this happens everywhere.) -
There's a lot of eye candy at the airports and the water seems alive and inviting. I had trouble installing this scenery, but the support from Flightscene was fantastic.
VIDAN DESIGN - AALBORG X FSX P3D
MR ANSELM J MCILWRATH
I have just bought this scenery and I have to say well done to the vidan desigh team on a fantastic scenery 5 stars from me this is a must have and i have seen a few more of vidan desigh scenerys that I will definitely be getting ;) :)
MK-STUDIOS - LISBON P3D4
Stefano Porrà
Being there last summer, MKS rendition is a magic balance of 3d landmark objects, beautifully modelled 3d airport building nicely textured, outstanding ground poly details formtwys and rwys. A must have, filling the hole left for a decent Lisbon scenario in P3D for less than 30€. Well done MKS.
RICHER SIMULATIONS - CARIBSKY - BARBADOS 2017 FSX P3D
Alexandre Gabriel Gomes SILVA
Show de cenário, e FPS amigáveis, mesmo com este monte de luzes a noite. Tive problemas na instalação e nunca vi um suporte via e-mail tão rápido, Parabéns por tudo.
AEROSKY PRODUCTION - COZY ATMOSPHERE SET P3D V3
Graham Smith
I was so pleased with Cozy Universal Clouds that I bought Cozy Atmosphere Set too. These two products have transformed how my P3dv3.4 sim world looks, using my ageing Active Sky Next for Prepar3D to generate the weather. If like me, you were considering extending your use of P3Dv3 a little longer before expensive upgrading to v4, Give these Aero Sky products a try!
TURBINE SOUND STUDIOS - BOEING 777-GE90-115B SOUNDPACK FSX P3D
Erich Berner
Superbly engineered sound set. Normally, PMDG provide excellent soundpacks for their aircraft, but this is actually an improvement over the PMDG set. After flying the PMDG 777 since it came out, I only just recently replaced the sounds with the TSS soundpack and was very pleasantly surprised. This replacement is very well designed for external AND virtual cockpit perspectives. Start-up sounds are particularly satisfying.
